Chapter 28

At Sunoo's house ..

" Sunoo , you said there's someone you want us to meet .. where are they ?" His dad asked , while  sitting on his seat . They were about to eat their dinner .

Sunoo looks at him then gulps , " uh , dad .. he's almost here "

After Sunoo said that , a faint knock was heard from the main door .. Sunoo turns his head and was about to get the door when his sister beat him to that .

And as she opened the door , it reveals Ni-ki , looking so handsome that Sunoo almost choked . Who the heck told him to be this handsome ??

" Good evening mr and mrs kim .. I'm here to visit Sunoo " he said formally and Sunoo just cringed at it .

" Oh , Sunoo ! Ni-ki's here for you~" his sister shouted though the whole household just heard what Ni-ki just said .

Sunoo shyly stands up to meet Ni-ki .

" Ni-ki , come here .. we're about to eat dinner . Come and join us " Sunoo's father invites him and Ni-ki obeyed instantly . He wants to get a great impression .

Sunoo settled next to him and holds his hand . The older knows Ni-ki was nervous because that's also what's he's feeling right now .

When Ni-ki catches Sunoo's mom's staring at him , he smiled .. he knows the lady supports him , even before .

" So .. Sunoo , is he the one you're talking about earlier ?" His dad asks him , and Sunoo stopped his hand that's about raise midway . He almost froze but Ni-ki holds his thighs . As if he was telling him that it's okay ..

" Uhmm .. yes dad . Ni-ki .. n-ni-ki is .. uh , he's my -" he stutters and Ni-ki could really feel his nervousness ..

" I'm his boyfriend sir " Ni-ki said , continuing what the older wanted to say . He was so proud to admit to everyone that his boyfriend is Kim Sunoo .

Sunoo's dad went silent along with the other members of the family and the both of them could feel the heavy air as the tension occupies the whole place . Sunoo gulps , while staring at his own food . His hands were rested on his lap and Ni-ki holds it tightly .. the younger was shaking .

His father cleared his throat as he drops his spoon on his plate and rested his elbows on the table then intertwines his own hands .

" You both are together ? That's what you're saying ?" He asks , and the two nodded .. he sighed .

" Dad , don't be mad .. I -"

" Don't say anything son .. it's okay " his dad cutted him and got them both bewildered .

" Huh ? Dad .. "

" I mean , it's okay .. you don't have to worry . We knew you're confused ever since and your mom already told me about Ni-ki sending you those letters " he said and Sunoo's heart wanted to jump from happiness . Did his dad just told him that everything's okay ??

Ni-ki also stopped from shaking when he heard all of that and released a heavy sigh .. he never felt this relieved in his whole life .

" Are you sure you're okay with us being together dad ? Mom .. ?" He asks , he's still can't believe it . And his mom , she already knew it .? What the hell

" Yes son , we're okay with it " his mom finally confirmed while holding her husbands hand .

Sunoo smiled widely as he clapped his hands slightly ..

" You hear that Riki ? They're approved! " He said while shaking Ni-ki's shoulders . The younger just smiled to him and nodded his head . He's still speechless .

" Actually bro , we've been observing you both . And we're happy you finally ended up being together . " His sister said while smiling

"Woah , thank you for accepting me .. and Ni-ki . I finally felt free !"

" Ni-ki .. " Sunoo's dad called out .. and Ni-ki instantly stiffen his body as he straightens his back .

" Welcome to the family " the man said and Ni-ki couldn't help but to smile .. his eyes were a bit glossy . He feels euphoric having people to accept him for who he is.

" Thank you sir .. I promise that -"

"No , don't make promises .. just do whatever you think that would make my son happy . I'm not asking for too much , I just want you to not hurt him because he's precious to us "

" Yes sir .. I'll do my best to make him happy "

" And don't call me sir , you can call me dad now , Ni-ki . You became a member of our family now "

Being happy is an understatement .. his heart felt giddy and it's too much for him to handle .

" Y-yes .. d-dad " he stutters but Sunoo looked at him proudly . He's proud of him for overcoming this confession to his family .

" You can also call mom , mom .. and me , sis " Sunoo's sister suddenly said , lighting up the mood .. she feels the couple would cry at any moment .

Ni-ki nods and Sunoo starts to tear up . Ni-ki panics and wiped his tears .. the other members of the family just stared at them fondly . They knew that Sunoo was in good hands .

At Sunoo's room ..

Both of them settled by the window .. staring outside , at nothingness to be exact .

Ni-ki was holding Sunoo into his arms , his hands wrapped around his waist ..

They're still overwhelmed by what happened and they can't explain the happiness they're feeling right now  . They're speechless for almost ten minutes now .

" Babe .. is this all real ?" Sunoo asks ,

Ni-ki smiled .. he was wondering also

" I believe it is baby ~"

Sunoo then turns to face him . But Ni-ki is still hugging him through his waist .

" I love you Riki .. " he said , staring Ni-ki lovingly in his eyes . Ni-ki just wants to melt from his gaze .

" I know hyung , and I love you too " he answered back

Sunoo cups the younger's cheeks and leaned for a quick peck on his lips . Both of them blushes and smiled ..

" It's nice that you're doing the first move " Ni-ki teased him and he just slapped his chest softly .

Ni-ki then leaned in and Sunoo just gulps when he saw the smirk pasted on the younger's lips . He then pressed his lips onto the older's and holds his nape for support .

This was the happiest feeling they ever felt ever since they're together .
