Kaneki's Suffering

Chapter 3

Touka's eyes widened. She was astonished at his sudden action. What is he doing? Her hands was on his chest. She closed her eyes. What are you doing?! Hurry up and push him away! I want to! I want to..but it feels so good..

He released his lips and hands and moved back one step. They breathed heavily. Touka's face flushed. She touched her lips and stared at the floor.. "T-T-That was my f-first... How are you going to take responsibility for that..."

"I will. Touka-chan, will you be my girlfriend? I promise to never leave your side and I will make you happy."

"What's with that? It sounds like a proposal." Touka laughed.

"WHERE ARE YOU TWO?! THE FLOOR IS CRAZY NOW! COME BACK HERE AND HELP ME!" Nishiki yelled.

"Haha, it sure sounds busy to me. Let's go back to the floor. Can I hear your answer later? After work."

"Y-Yeah sure."

They went back to work.

"What the hell were you guys doing back there?! Making out?!" Nishiki was seriously pissed he had to handle the whole floor himself AND making the food for like half an hour because Irimi and Koma were off.

Kaneki chuckled and whispered to Touka, "We WERE making out though."

"Y-YOU!" Touka attemped to hit Kaneki but he dodged her punch.

"Tch... Go and take orders you idiot..." As Touka walked away, she grinned.

This is bad... I'm so happy right now I'm smiling!

Touka heard another female customer ask Kaneki if she could touch his hair.

"Sorry I can't allow you to do that because 5 mins ago, I just made a girlfriend and she's over there." Kaneki looked over at Touka.

"W-What?! I haven't gave you the answer yet!"

"The answer is quite obvious though." Kaneki smirked.

"How can you be sure I'll say yes?" Touka gave the poker face.

"Eh? That's not the case?" He was shocked.

Touka ignored him and walked to the counter to make coffee. Kaneki ran to the counter. "You're gonna reject me?" "Who knows? Haha." Touka laughed. "Ehhh... I'm shocked.."

"Um waiter!" A customer called out. "Yes!" Kaneki ran over.

Meanwhile, a skinny-looking male customer who looks like he's in his twenties has been staring at Touka for quite some time. Touka noticed and felt a chill run down her spine.

-After Work-

When Touka walked out of the shop to bring in the shop sign, that male customer came out and asked if he could speak to her in private. That bad feeling I had came true... Touka hesitated but agreed after a while.

The customer led Touka into a dark alley. "Hey isn't this a little too far in? It's fine here." Touka stopped.

"Okay..." He seemed unwilling to stop there but he did. "I'm Tetsuo. I've been watching you for a time now and I think you're really cute. Will you go out with me?"

She raised her eyebrows. "May I ask which part of me do you think is cute?" She crossed her arms.

"I like how you treat every customer nicely. And you're cute and pretty.. Totally my type..."

Touka sighed. So in other words, you only like my outside... I'm gonna reject him quickly and get back in.

"I'm sorry but I'm not interested in you."

"Eh? Which part of me do you not like? Tell me and I'll change!" He panicked.

"I don't like guys who only look on the outside of girls. That's what you're doing."

Meanwhile, Kaneki thought she was taking a bit too long to just bring in the shop sign and came out to find Touka. He saw Touka with a male customer talking. He ran and hid behind a pillar near them so he could eavesdrop.

"No! I'm not like that! I'll treasure you!"

"I'm sorry I already have a boyfriend that is the white-haired guy."

Kaneki gasped but they didn't hear him. Even if those words may be fake, I'm happy..!

"But you haven't told him 'yes' yet right? I heard your conversation just now! What's so good about that guy?! He's just a little more handsome than normal guys!" Tetsuo started to get angry and he did the most surprising thing. He brought out his Kagune.

Touka's eyes widened. "Y-You're a ghoul?!" Shit! He's a Koukaku type! This place is too narrow for me to fight! She immediately backed away. "Let's talk about this calmly, alright?" She smiled fakely.

"NO! I WANT YOU TO BE MY GIRLFRIEND AND IF YOU WON'T, I WILL MAKE YOU MINE!"

Tetsuo used his Kagune to pick up a trash can nearby and threw it at her. Kaneki activated his Kakugan, ran in front of Touka and caught the trash can with his Kagune before placing it down on the floor. "K-Kaneki?!" "Are you alright, Touka-chan?" He glared at Tetsuo. "I-I'm fine." Touka said.

"I don't know who you are but I will kill you for trying to hurt her." Kaneki used his Kagune, grabbed Tetsuo's leg and swung him into a wall. The wall collapsed.

Kaneki walked to Tetsuo and stabbed him. "BLEURH!" Tetsuo spat out lots of blood. Touka ran to Kaneki. "Kaneki stop it! He'll die!" Kaneki wasn't listening. Touka gasped as she saw Kaneki laughing. Why is he laughing? Then she saw Kaneki placing his Kagune onto Tetsuo's neck. "Please spare me! I surrender! I won't go after her anymore! I'll even leave the 20th ward!" Tetsuo pleaded.

"Kaneki it's okay. I'm fine. Let's go." She placed her hand on his shoulder.

His eyes turned back to grey and white. "Touka-chan, you sure you don't want me to kill him?"

"Yeah it's alright."

"Okay."

They went back into the shop and upstairs.

"Sorry for making you do that..."

"No, I'm fine.. Did he do anything to you before I got there?"

"No..."

"That's good. Can I hear your answer now, Touka-chan?"

"O-Okay. My answer is yes, I would like to go out with you. Please take care of me." She bows.

"Huh? I thought for sure you were going to reject me because just now you..." Kaneki looked very surprised.

"I was just joking, why'd you take it so seriously? Jeez." Touka laughed.

"Ah! Yes, please take care of me as well!" He bows.

AWWW <3 chapter was quite difficult to write the action scene as i had to research ^^||| anyway hope you guys enjoyed it :3
