it was 2pm and ellie was still in her bed. she had no intentions of even coming out of it for the rest of the day, even if that meant that she couldn't eat.
the girl was feeling tired, irritated and angry. she was angry at the world, irritated at how it had made her feel.
the girl was on the verge of tears and just couldn't get herself to actually let the droplets fall on her cheeks, off her chin and on her sheets.
she simply felt like it would be like she was giving up, but the young woman was strong, she always told herself that she was. so she couldn't and wouldn't cry.
she had multiple text messages from her friends, most of them were wondering why she hadn't been online all day, others were checking up in the girl, worried of her mental health.
then the girl decided to pick up her phone and just answer her texts, cause maybe it would help who knows?

ellie blinked a few times causing the tears in her eyes to finally start rolling, she accepted what had happened and let out a heart breaking sob.
anyone on the world would instantly cry with her, the girl let out another sob and looked up when her bedroom door opened.
there stood jack, who quickly walked towards her bed when he saw the state the girl was in.
"oh liz." the boy sat next to her and brought her in his warm embrace. the two sat in silence next to each other not really knowing what to say.
the girl let out a few more sobs, each more heartbreaking then the other one. jack could feel his heart shatter in more and more pieces when another tear would roll down ellie's cheek.
"could you maybe hand me my phone, i need to text wil back." the girl held her hand out signing that jack needed to place it there.
so he moved his body towards her nightstand and placed her phone in her hand. she quietly muttered a 'thank you' and opened the 'messages' app.

"you want me to feed tigger?" jack asked ellie. the girl nodded and told the boy where her cats food was.
she decided to change into some more comfortable clothes and walked to her closet. after she had put on some different clothing she walked to the kitchen making herself some food while jack did the same thing for her pet.
she opened her fridge and got out some eggs, the girl walked over to a cupboard and took out a pan.
jack looked at the girl who was standing next to him baking eggs at 2.30pm softly humming a song while doing so.
there was a comfortable feeling around them, like a warm blanket was surrounding the two, telling them that everything was okay.
jack joined in on ellie's humming, and so they stood in the girls kitchen making food, softly humming 'maybe i was boring' by their friend wilbur soot.
they both fell silent when the song came to an end, big smiles on their faces. ellie had just finished her eggs and had started eating them.
"you wanna watch a movie?" ellie looked up from her plate and nodded at jack, sending him a sweet smile.
so that was how they ended up on the couch harry potter playing on the tv, while they watched in silence cuddled up together.
tigger had climbed on the couch and placed himself between the two teens, earning some laughs from the both of them.
it was around 6pm that jack had decided to go home, mostly because his mom told him to and 'cause it was time for dinner'.
so the two friends said their goodbyes, gave each other a hug, and waved while the one went home, and the other was left alone.
