ellie woke up pretty early so she stood at wilbur's doorstep at 9am. the two ate breakfast together and took advantage of the situation to catch up.
"i honestly so excited for your song." wilbur told ellie, the girl smiled and looked at her friend. "i'm happy you like it."
the rest of the day was spend by playing music, they played piano, guitar and they sang together. they eventually decided to stream it to make it more fun.
wilbur's stream was slowly starting up and the man handed ellie some water which she gladly took from him. she took a big sip out off the bottle and swallowed the liquid.
"hi chat!" ellie walked over to where wilbur was sat in his chair and waved at his camera. ellie too said hello to the chat, and took the seat next to wil who was explaining what they were gonna do.
"elle and i are going to play some music, guys." he enthusiastically said. wilbur clapped his hands together and picked up his guitar from the ground. ellie already had his spare one in her lap.
"do you want to play 'maybe i was boring' with me, wil?" she asked him with a sparkle in her eyes. wilbur laughed at the girl and nodded his head.
they both started playing and wilbur began singing.
"he never had cool stories, he doesn't make your heart beat." "used to love his mystery, but now he's just exhausting." "another day spent just laying in his room." "the stench of incense and some undelivered food."
ellie joined in on the second verse and looked at wilbur who sang with her with a big smile on his face.
"and she thought." "what is he thinks i'm the one?" "and i'll be forced to rot away." "with him and his obsessions," "with trivial things." "like the amount of fucking love hearts i finish a text message with."
the rest of the song was over before they knew it and chat was filled with purple hearts. ellie smiled at the support and looked over to wilbur. he looked like he was on cloud nine, ellie giggled softly and they continued singing wilbur's songs.
they had played mutiple songs and the chat started saying they wanted to hear ellie's song, so after wilbur had told her that 'it would be okay' she took the piano and played the first notes of the chorus.
"cause i, i feel like i'm ready for love." "and i wanna be your everything and more." "and i know every day you say it." "but i want you to be sure." "that i'm yours."
wilbur stood behind her with a proud smile on his face. he looked like some type of proud brother, and to ellie, he was.
chat was absolutely freaking out. just the little bit that ellie sang had them going crazy. ellie chuckled and moved the piano away from wilbur's desk.

twitter was filled with clips of the snippit of ellie's song, there were so many that her fans had gotten it trending. it made ellie slightly nervous about it, but all of the comments her fans were giving her were all very positive, which made her more confident about her decision of releasing a song.
jack had already messaged the girl. when he was watching the stream and heard her sing, he wondered if it was about a specific someone, and if it was about who. the words ellie sang also made him quite jealous, he wanted it to be directed to him so badly, that it almost hurt.

ellie was a bit scared to see jack again, especially after the music stream with wilbur. she laid in her hotel bed and couldn't fall asleep. 'what if jack didn't like her back?'
the stress was getting worse by the second. ellie picked up her phone and called the first contact she could see. 'tommy'
tommy picked up after only a few seconds, "are you okay, elle?" the blonde asked her, you could hear the concern in his voice.
"yeah, why not?" "you never call me." it was true, ellie and tommy mostly just texted apart from calling through discord. ellie took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down.
"my song is about jack." tommy didn't give her the reaction she thought he would, he didn't yell or scream, he just stayed silent. "tommy say something."
"oh, you want me to act like i didn't see this coming?" the boy giggled at how nervous ellie was. the brunette scrunched up her nose bridge and looked down at her phone.
"what?" she was so confused by tommy's words. "it pretty obvious that you like jack." he told her. "wait really?" tommy laughed again and nodded his head even though she couldn't see him.
"and he definitely likes you back." those words make ellie relax, "he likes me back?!" she asked tommy. the seventeen year old hummed and chuckled at his friend. "definitely."
