5:30 pm.

"Daddy!" Hyejoon runs in his father's arms right when he comes back home, and this one picks him up to hug him. "I missed you," he wraps his small arms around his neck, and my heart melts. "I missed you too, my baby," he takes his shoes off and squats down to grab them and put them where they have to be. "How was your day?" he rubs his baby's back and walks up to me while I am cooking, and he leaves a kiss on his son's cheek.

"It was good! I played, ate, and slept a lot," he brushes Jungkook's hair back, his small body looking even tinier in his arms. "You did? And what did you dream of, honey?"

"I dreamed of Bubble and you, she was playing with me, and she told me that you were coming to tickle me, so I had to run, but she was running with me, and then you were there because you were fast, and you tickled me, but she jumped on you and saved me," he giggles in a contagious manner, some of his words sounding incomprehensible to me. Jungkook laughs at how precious and adorable he is. "And what if daddy tickles you now?" he pokes his waist and makes him twitch, his laughter of baby echoing through the house. "No, please!"

"Okay, I let you run away, but if I catch you, I tickle you and never let you go even if Bubble attacks me," he puts him down on the ground, and Hyejoon does not wait a second before trying to flee away with his small legs while giggling.

Jungkook waits on purpose to let him believe he has a chance, and after what feels like a long distance for Hyejoon, he steps forth but slowly. "Daddy's coming, baby, run faster."

"Hachoon!" he shouts his brother's name, never saying it the right way. I laugh at the sound of it, watching him run for his life while giggling and having fun, and the one who was called for help peeks over the sofa. "I'm here. What is it?"

"Daddy is—" his laughter reverberates through the house even more loudly once Jungkook catches him and lifts him up in the air. He squirms into his embrace while being tickled by his father.

Thinking about the fact that I would not be living this type of moment if I did not meet him has an awful impact on my mood. I do not want to imagine my life without them around me, not just once.

Jungkook does not let him go but gives him raspberry kisses in the crook of his neck, and his voice emits real sounds of joy and happiness. "Do not run away from daddy again, okay?" he allows him to breathe, and he calms down but throws his arms around his neck. "Okay!"

"Good boy," he presses a kiss on his cheek and puts him down next to Hajoon, and this boy ruffles his hair. "I'm sorry I couldn't save you from this big man."

"It's okay," he pushes up on his feet to lean over the back of the sofa and look at his father who is walking up towards me. He undoes his tie, his eyes not leaving me once mine meet his, and we both smile at each other.

"Hey, baby," he cups my waist and presses his lips on mine, and I focus on him only, leaving the food for a moment. "Hey, how was your day?" I check up on him. He puts his tie down on the kitchen island and opens a few buttons of his shirt to get more comfortable. "It was fine. Better than yesterday. What about yours?"

"It was good as always," I avoid telling him that I wanted him near me since I know this will make him feel bad for not being able to be more present, and he smiles at me. He steps closer, and he takes a peek at the living room where his sons are playing together. A second after this, he lays his eyes back on me, but I put my arms around his waist and give him a warm hug. He returns it momentarily and drops a soft kiss on my forehead.

"Hyejoon seems very playful today, what did you give him for lunch?" he chuckles, noticing how energetic the little baby is. "Some blueberries, carrots, a hard-boiled egg without the yolk, and some grilled cheese in a slice of whole wheat bread. I even spent time making the carrots into small balls, and the sandwich was cut in the shape of a heart. He really enjoyed it."
