'JUNGKOOK'S P.O.V'
My day finally over after long hours of work, I do not drive back home but to the place of meeting. I am supposed to meet her in thirty minutes, but I do not have her phone number, so we cannot even get in contact. I truly hope she will not dump me.
I check my GPS to make sure I am going on the right way, and I take a look at the cafés on the right side since the screen tells me I'm there. I park right in front of the right one, and I undo my seat belt, grab my keys to turn the ignition off and get out of my vehicle with my phone in my hand.
I hope this girl will be the good one, I really need her.
A sigh escapes my mouth as I am heading to the front door, and I put my keys in a pocket of my grey trousers to step inside. My eyes instantly seek for the girl who should be waiting for me, and once I make eye contact with a young one sitting at a table without anyone, wearing a flimsy, floral dress, her gaze makes me understand she is the one, so I move towards her, and she stands up.
"Hello," I bow to her. "Y/n, am I right?" I ask for the confirmation, with a smile, and she nods to me before bowing. "Hello, yes. I'm y/n. It's nice to meet you, Mister Jeon."
"Ah, thank god, I thought you wouldn't come. Nice to meet you too," I sit down at the table and invite her to join me without any shyness, my six-foot-five seeming too tall for her. She goes back on her chair, so I put my phone down and take another look at her.
She seems very sweet and respectful, this is already a good point.
"Would you like a drink?" she smiles at me, her attention making me feel pleased. "No, thank you. I just drank some bubble tea on the way here," I chuckle but keep my eyes on her. "Ah, all right," her body language exudes some nervousness, so I do my best to relax her and put her at ease. "Well, let's start with the easiest point first. May I see your ID card? I trust you, but I just want to make sure everything is fine."
"Yes, here it is," she picks a card that was under her phone, and she hands it to me, so I grab it and check her age. That is the most important.
Date of birth: 20/09/2000.
"Oh, you celebrated your birthday only two days ago I see. Happy belated birthday," I peek up at her but notice the undeniable timidity all upon her face. "Thank you."
I give her back her card but reassure her as much as I can. "Do you want to see mine?" I propose to do, but she shakes her head and slightly elevates her hand from under the table to make the same movement with it. "No, I know you're thirty-eight, you have children, I trust you as well."
"All right," I do not insist but talk a bit more calmly, realizing I sound a bit hurried since I stepped in and sat on this chair. "So, as I told you, today is just going to be for the meeting, I'm going to show you my house, introduce my children and wife to you, and explain to you the rules there are in my house. All right? There's no need to be nervous, you will only start to work tomorrow."
"Oh, so you hire me for this job?" she expresses some astonishment since I told her I would wait to see if she is the good one for this. I show my approval. "Yes, I feel it. You're the one I want, and I'm pretty sure my kids are going to like you a lot."
