"This is the longest Ladybug and Chat Noir had been fighting an akuma since their debut. And it's not looking too good, Ladybug is yet to summon her lucky charm and Chat Noir has recharged for the 4thtime now. It should also be noted that this is the most damage an akuma has ever caused, with 2 buildings being reduced to nothingness and a few houses destroyed. Hang in there heroes, Paris is with you."Nadja Chamack relayed with the live broadcast of the fight.

"This is getting too tiring and she's not leaving me a chance to summon my lucky charm" Ladybug said with a frustrated tone.

"Don't worry Bugaboo, it won't be long now. And I for once have a plan. I'll distract her and you try to get a far as possible to summon your lucky charm." Chat Noir reassured. Ladybug looked him in the eye, trying to get some more comfort out of his gaze, if it weren't interrupted by the akuma's enraged declaration.

"Give me your miraculous you pathetic excuses of heroes"

"Sabrina please let's talk this civilly, and I'm sure Chloé is still your friend." Ladybug answered.

"For the last time, I am miraculer, and I'm pretty sure Chloé wants nothing to do with me now so HAND ME YOUR MRACULOUS" Miraculer shot back. But then Chat Noir quickly attacked her and they started fighting, Chat Noir staying on the defensive side while Ladybug ran away for moment, then a flash of pink appeared as she finally managed to summon her lucky charm with no risk of Miraculer cataclysming it, since she managed to acquire Chat's cataclysm.

She quickly started looking around, hoping and praying she could formulate a plan before the akuma can do any more damage, then once it all clicked in her head, she quickly went to team up again with Chat Noir.

"I know what to do" she whispered to her partner.

"Lead the way"

They started attacking Miraculer, desperately trying to overwhelm her and it seemingly worked for a moment. And Ladybug took this chance to approach her and use her lucky charm. However, when Sabrina started smirking she started to have a bad feeling about it and tried to pull away. But it was too late. Ladybug's eyes widened when she felt her lucky charm disintegrate in her hand. Miraculer used her cataclysm. On the lucky charm. That means it failed. But how is that possible? It NEVER fails. Ladybug's eyes widened and she stood still, her panic was visible and the villain took the chance to pin her to the ground.

"You know, I meant for it to hit you but oh well I'll take what I can get" Miraculer mocked as she extended her arms to take the miraculous, marinette too paralyzed to register what was happening.

Chat Noir too was so shocked that the lucky charm, however he quickly got over his shock and snuck up on the akuma, successfully destroying the object before she could the earrings off.

But he noticed that Ladybug was still unresponsive, her mind too much of a mess to process what happened. The only thing she could hear was the words "I failed" ricocheting in her mind.

"Bugaboo please you have to snap out of it, please, before the akuma can fly away too far" Chat said, while gently shaking her to bring her out of her trance.

"I failed Chat" she finally responded, tears brimming in her eyes.

"You didn't ladybug, you made a mistake just like any other human would, and look the villain was defeated come now capture the akuma"

She did as she was told, quickly devilising the butterfly, and despite the cheers around her, she still felt like a failure.

"I have failed Chat, I can't repair the damage, I can't fix the broken buildings I HAVE FAILED" she yelled the last part, threatening to break down.
