NEXT MORNING

Both kartik and naira were sleeping till late,  naira slept early in the morning. Naira was in the hall on the sofas while kartik was in the room. Naira was first to wake up while kartik was still in deep slumber. She prepared a glass of lemonade for him.

KAIRA'S ROOM

Kartik wake up from his sleep as naira removed the curtains and let sun rays come inside. The sun rays disturbed kartik's sleep and when he got up he felt his head heavy. He tried to remember about yesterday but failed to collect his memories. He was sitting on his bed when naira entered with a tray in her hand. Kartik saw her and was about to ask her.

Kartik: naira yeh
Naira: yeh nimbu pani pee lo acha lagega
Kartik: mai kal raat ghar kab aya
Naira: pehle yeh pee lo mai fresh hokar aati hu
Kartik: hmm

Kartik didn't ask her much as he sensed her ignorance. He drank the lemonade and layed down back as his headache was really hurting him badly.

IN KITCHEN

Naira was in kitchen preparing breakfast for them. She was busy when kartik came after freshening up. He messaged dhruv that he will be late today. He went towards her and tried to initiate the conversation.

Kartik: Naira
Naira: tum tayar ho jao tab tak mai breakfast bana dungi.
Kartik: mujhe tumse baat karni hai
Naira: bolo
Kartik: tum mujhe ignore kar rahi ho kya
Naira(being busy in her work): aisa kuch nhi hai woh bas mai raat ko soi nhi pai.

Kartik got some call and went to answer it while naira placed the food on the dinning table. Kartik came back and sighed as he knew she was really upset with him. They had their breakfast silently without uttering a single word to each other.

IN KAIRA'S ROOM

Naira came back saw kartik still there. She finally asked him whether he is going to the office or not.

Naira: tumhe office nhi jana
Kartik: woh mai lunch k baad hi jaunga aaj itna kuch kaam nhi hai
Naira: hmm
Kartik(holding her wrist): naira kya hua
Naira: kuch nhi kartik I just need some rest.
Kartik: mai kal raat ghar kab ayaa aur kaise
Naira: 1 bje k kareeb aur kabir chodhkar gya.
Kartik: did you have your dinner
Naira: voh mai pehle hi so gyi thi
Kartik(pulling her and cupping her face): I am sorry naira I really didn't want to drink lekin
Naira: kartik Its fine. I didn't know tumne msg kiya tha I saw it in the morning.
Kartik: lekin
Naira(placing a kiss on his cheek): trust me I can understand jab koi force karta hai. Mai raat ko so nhi pai isliye low sound kar rhi hu
Kartik(wrapping his arms around her): I am sorry I hope maine taang nhi kiya kal tumhe.
Naira(hugging him back): nhi kiya aur ab yeh guilty feel karna band karo.
Kartik(breaking the hug): tum so jao agar thaki ho tao mai lunch office mei karlunga.
Naira: lekin
Kartik: maine kaha na

Kartik knew she was hurt but not showing up. Naira didn't react much because she was in no mood to fight with me. She knew kartik didn't drink intentionally. He too didn't drag it much and left. Once Kartik left she mailed to the interviewers that she won't be able to come. Kartik totally forgot about her interview.

Naira slept once she was done with her daily chores around 2pm while kartik was busy in his work when he remembered that naira had to go for the interview. He knew she would have canceled it because of him and he felt guilty for it. He decided to make it up for her. He called his father to ask for his help.

IN EVENING

Kartik returned early today as he wanted to spend some time with naira. He decided to surprise her and opened the door with the spare keys. He thought she must be in the room so he went there and found her sleeping. He thought to let her rest for a time he changes. He was all silent during the whole time but naira's sleep broke. She opened her eyes and found him setting his hairs.
