IN A CAFE
Naira was busy scribbling something on a paper while she was waiting for someone in the cafe. She has been here for long but the person who actually called her here didn't came till now. She was sitting on her place while getting bored when she saw a couple sitting opposite to her. The girl was busy eating her sandwich while the boy was glaring at her. He kept trying to get her attention but she didn't divert her attention from her sandwich to him. She kept staring at them and didn't realise when a girl of about her age came and sat next to her. Naira was brought out of her trance when she snapped at her due to which naira got scared.
Naira(angrily): what the hell aditi. Stop shouting hum log tere room mei nhi hai. Apna asli roop dikhakar logo ko bhaagne ka irada hai kya
Aditi: tujhe pta bhi hai mai kabse tujhe awaz de rhi hu.
Naira: aur jo mai pichle adhe ghante se tera yahan wait kar rhi hu
Aditi: voh mujhe mom ne rok liya tha
Naira: I know kisne roka tha
Aditi: leave this and tell me where were you lost
Naira(looking at the table opposite to her): I was not lost. (turning her attention towards aditi)Tu bata mujhe yahan kyu bulaya hai.
Aditi: why don't you call him. I know you are missing him and desperate to talk to him.
Naira: isliye yahan bulaya hai mujhe. Apna parvachan sunane
Aditi(changing the topic): mujhe apni engagement ki dress select karne mei teri help chahiye.
Naira: lekin
Aditi: ya toh os se baat karle nhi toh stop being a bitch to me. Mai baar baar shaadi nhi karne wali. Help kardegi toh kya chala jayega.
Naira: meri bhabhi ka boutique hai. Why don't we call her and ask for her help.
Aditi: lekin voh toh
Naira: we can ask if she can help or help sth.
Aditi: oh yes we can. Call her now
Naira: mai?
Aditi: nhi mai os waiter ko keh rhi hu
It has been two weeks since the teej. Naira and Kartik didn't have much conversation as after that dayi.e. the very next day, they again got into an argument over the same thing which forced naira to take a decision. Being tired with Kartik's ignorance, terrible behaviour, her messed up feelings etc, she realised she needed a break from him. She was tired of making efforts for both of them. She needed a break from her so called ongoing drama in her life. She needed peace. She wasn't living with him from last two weeks. It was an impulsive decision but she was doing it was right according to her. She wanted to be a selfish for herself and wasn't wrong in it. It became toxic for her being alone for the whole day doing nothing but stressing about him.
She joined neil last week as she wanted to divert her mind. She wanted to do sth she enjoyed doing. She has been working with him and living in Singhanias since last two weeks. It wasn't tough to convince Goenkas to let her go as somewhere they too wanted her to have a break. Though they didn't want her to go away yet couldn't say anything being helpless. They didn't want her to feel being alone and think they were taking Kartik's side. Yesterday, she came to meet aditi who has came to India last week here in jaipur. She was getting married this month and asked Naira to join her for the preparations.
IN KARTIK'S SIDE
Kartik was sleeping in his room peacefully though it was almost 11 in the morning. He stirred in his sleep and moved towards the side of the bed trying to find some warmth. He mumbled sth in his sleep and moved towards the other side more. At last he was about to fall from the bed but he caught hold of himself. He opened his eyes to see the surroundings and saw him in the other side of the bed than the one he actually slept on. He cursed under his breath and sat up.
IN HALL
He came downstairs after freshening up and saw everyone busy in their own little world. He sat next to mansi who was busy watching tv and got busy in his phone too. He called out his mother loud and asked for his breakfast.
Suwarna: mai vahan nhi laake de rhi kartik.
Kartik: mom plz
Suwarna: Kartikk
Kartik: aaj akhri baar
Suwarna(passing him the plate): tum bhi din ba din ziddi hoi jaa rahe ho.
Dadi: ise sirf Naira sambhal sakti hai
Kartik(ignoring them and trying to change the topic): shubham kahan hai. Aaj toh office bhi band hai
Suwarna(hitting his head from behind): when are you going to talk to her.
Kartik: why would I voh bhi call kar sakti hai. (Changing the topic)yaar kuch acha laga yeh kya rona dhona laga k rakha hai.
Mansi: no way. I need to see this aap apne phone pe dekhlo jo dekhna hai apko
Kartik: tu bhi dekh sakti hai.
Mansi: so why should she should call aap bhi call kar sakte ho
Kartik: tu bohat bolne lagi hai aaj kal
Mansi: aap bohat gussa karne lage ho aaj kal. Either call her or just being rude to everyone.
