IN CONFERENCE ROOM

Naira was busy going through some files when the door opened and Kartik came. Kartik pulled her into a swift hug as soon as he saw her. As he got to know that Batras agreed to all their terms and conditions he just wanted her to congrarulate her. Initially he no doubt believed that she would be the best choice but still somewhere he feared. He knew it wasn't an easy task to convince the investors for all the terms and conditions but still she did it and he was on top of the world.

On the other hand, naira was taken back by his sudden action. She was so engrossed in her work that his sudden action scared her. She jumped on her place but relaxed once she realised it was him. She was confused as it was second time he came so suddenly and hugged her. She just wished that it wasn't related to her family as she was not interested discussing about it. She pulled herself out of the hug while kartik kissed her forehead.

Kartik: I am so proud of you. I knew it that you will do the best
Naira: I see
Kartik: seriously naira I can't believe it tum batra se apni sari baate manva li.
Naira: you are underestimating me Mr. Goenka
Kartik(pulling her close to him by holding her from waist): I don't dare to
Naira: you did
Kartik(nuzzling his face in her neck): kab
Naira: jab mujhe tum is project mei kaam karne se mana kar rahe
Kartik(tucking her hairs behind her ear): I am had my reasons back then
Naira(kissing near his lips): I know

Kartik's eyes were on her lips and was about to claim them. They were just an inch apart when the door opened and both of them jumped on their places.
They turned their gaze towards the door and found shubham smirking at them.

Shubham: thodi bohat toa sharam karo aap dono. Yeh apka room nhi jo jab marzi shuru ho gye
Kartik: tujhse matlab
Shubham: mujhe kya jo karna hai karo lekin baad mei mujhe mat kehna jab meri jagah kisi aur ne apko aise range haatho naina mataka karte pakad liya
Kartik: toh hum kya darte hai kisi se. BTW mujhe yeh bata isme galat kya hai (pulling her close) meri biwi mai jo marzi karu
Naira(trying to act normal): mai apne cabin se apna mobile phone lekar aayi phir hum lunch k liye chalte

Naira left from their before Kartik could say anything. Kartik rubbed the back of his neck and smiled while shubham raised his eyebrows.

Shubham: toh ab aage ka plan kya hai bhabhi k cabin mei ya ghar pe
Kartik: koi na jitna bolna hai bol beta mera bhi time aayega.
Shubham: haa haa dekhenge
Kartik: acha tu yahan kya karna aaya tha
Shubham: ha voh mujhe koi kaam nhi tha toh maine socha bhabhi k saath hi baate karta hu
Kartik: haa baate karne hi toh hum yahan aate hai
Shubham: oh plz bhaiya don't be so apprehensive.

Kartik rolled his eyes and made his way towards Naira's cabin. He found her on the way and later they decided to go out for a lunch. Shubham too joined them as he had nothing to do back in office.

AT RESTAURANT

Shubham went ahead leaving kartik and Naira in the parking as Naira got some call and kartik thought to wait for her. When they entered they saw Shubham talking to some girl of his age. They made their way towards them and saw the girl was none other than Vani.

Kartik: hey, vani tum yahan
Vani: hii, voh mai kisi kaam se bahar aayi thi.
Shubham(interrupting): great! Why don't you join us for lunch?
Vani: mm actually mai lunch karne hi aayi hu
Kartik: same here so you can join us I suppose. Kyu na
Naira(unsure): yeah sure
Shubham: so let's go maine already booking karli thi.

Naira wasn't much welcoming but kartik happily invited her to join them for lunch to vani. Although Naira liked her yet she couldn't help and felt a bit insecure. For the sake of kartik, she plastered a smile and invited to join. While Shubham was in all different mood after meeting vani. He was actually more than happy after meeting her. Vani too found it better to join them rather than having her lunch all alone. They made their way towards their table. Kartik pulled out a chair for Naira while shubham did so for vani. Kartik raised his eyebrow at him while shubham just gave him a nervous smile.
