NEXT MORNING

Both of them slept the previous night while searching for a gift for each other. Both were looking forward for the next day, Kartik was eager to meet Naira while Naira was excited yet nervous for the meeting. Both were looking forward with some hopes.

Everything was usual like the last day. They both woke up and got ready for the day. One for the meeting while other had some business to do before leaving. Although Naira tried to call Kartik and even messaged him yet kartik didn't answer. Kartik had some business which he needed to do in his mumbai office before leaving. He just had some much to do that he just messaged her naira he will talk to her later. He decided to pack his bags and take them along with him to the office so that he can go straight to the airport from there.

KARTIK'S SIDE

Kartik was almost done with his packing. He decided not to take everything  but only the essentials. He was running quite late and was in hurry. He was on his way towards the car parking when he bumped into vani making her stumble. She was about to fall when kartik caught her in order to save her. Kartik hands were on her wrist while Vani holded his arms being scared. He made her stand and mouthed sorry to her.

Kartik: I am really sorry. I hope aapko lago tao nhi
Vani: no way I am perfectly alright and even I am sorry too mai aise achanak
Kartik: no worries
Vani(noticing his bags): you are leaving right
Kartik: yeah voh jaldi mei tha isliye tumhe notice nhi kar paya
Vani(smiling): its fine. BTW Happy Journey.
Kartik: Thanks
Vani: okay bye then I hope I will meet your wife soon
Kartik: of course
Vani: bye

Kartik bid her bye and made his way towards the car parking. While vani smiled at his restlessness. She later went towards the lift while there was a person who noticed the something which he wasn't supposed to.

IN NAIRA'S CABIN

Naira came to office early as she had to collect some documents for the meeting from her. Naira too had some work left  for the presentation as she got busy finding a gift for Kartik last night. She was completing that work and was checking her phone again and again to see if Kartik dropped any message for her. It was just the same that he will call her later. She was quite frustrated on him as at least he could have talk for a moment with her before leaving but no he didn't. She sighed in disbelief and got back to her work. Just then shubham entered..

Shubham: bhabhi aap itni jaldi kyu aa gyi
Naira: voh mujhe kuch kaam tha isliye
Shubham: okay vaise papa keh rahe the aap voh Mr. Batra k saath meeting aap attend karne wali hai.
Naira: haa kyu
Shubham: vaise hi. Bhabhi tao apne kya socha
Naira: abhi tak tao kuch nhi bali dekhti hu
Shubham: vaise mere pass ek idea hai
Naira: kya
Shubham: voh mai aapko meeting k baad bataunga abhi nhi
Naira: ek baat batao mujhe na kuch karna hi nhi hai.
Shubham: kyu kya hua
Naira: tumhare bhai ne subhe se ek baar call nhi kiya mujhe banda ek call tao kar hi sakta haina
Shubham: bhai busy honge
Naira: tao kya mai nhi hu
Shubham: lekin
Naira: tu na rehne do aur yeh batao mujhe lunch k baad meeting haina Mr. Batra k saath
Shubham: hmm

Shubham sighed and left. He decided to call kartik once to inform about his wife being frustrated with him. But to his dismay Kartik's phone was on silent he wasn't able to answer it. Shubham dropped the message and got back to his work.

IN EVENING

The day went with a blink. Naira was still busy in the meeting while shubham went to pick his brother. Naira had no idea about Kartik coming back. It had been 2 hours since the meeting started but it was still in process as the investors were quite demanding. Naira was quite frustrated with their attitude yet she didn't let them win over her. After a long debate, the investors finally  gave in and accepted her terms and conditions
