IN NAIRA'S SIDE
When Naira came out to fetch her phone she saw her father talking to someone. She didn't want to intrude and decided to get her phone and leave. She was about to leave after picking her phone when he heard him saying that he doesn't want to tell about this to anyone. As much as she didn't want to disturb them, she stood there to finish his statement. As soon as the next words left his mouth she stood their rooted to her place not knowing what to do. Tears rolled out from her eyes while she stood there trying the grasp the information.
Naitik who bid bye to the man turned to go back inside saw her standing there. He didn't know whether she heard his conversation or not. She was the last person he wanted to know about his secret. He called her name but she didn't reply.
Naitik: Nairaa
Naitik(walking towards her): what are you doing here. Chalo andar.(He pulled her along with him)
Naira: I heard it.
Naitik(turning towards her): what you heard
Naira: you have a clot.
Naitik(sighing): Naira mai
Naira: how long do you have that
Naitik: it isn't serious stop worrying.
Naira: how can I not.
Naitik: hum baad mei baat karege es baare mei. Don't tell anyone about this.
Naira: you will be fine right?
Naitik(smiling): of course I will be.
Naira: does it hurt?
Naitik(wiping her tears): these tears are hurting me more right now.
He kissed her forehead and pulled her into a hug. No doubt she has been distant with her but never ever she failed to be caring for everyone. She couldn't see anyone in pain. She is the sweetest in the family no matter how rude and irritating she can be at times. She too hugged him of course whatever the differences they had she can't change the fact that he is her father. She obviously can't afford to see him in pain.
IN KARTIK'S SIDE
Kartik came outside to find her and saw Naira hugging her father. It was quite strange to see them together that too in each other's embrace instead of arguing over sth. He called her name and disturbed their moment as he was really curious to know what exactly happened.
Kartik: aap dono yahan.
Naitik: Kartik haa voh mujhe kuch baat karni thi
Kartik: is everything alright. (Walking close to them) mai kabse aapko dhoondh raha hu madam aur aap yahan hai
Naitik: everything thing is alright.
Kartik(snapping his fingers in front of her): hello you there
Naitik: Kartik she is quite tired. Can you plz take her home. Party toh khatam ho hi gyi hai. Mai sab ko bata dunga
Kartik: yeah sure.
Naitik left the alone while Kartik sighed once he was out of sight. He turned towards his wife who went on mute from the moment he saw her. He did know sth may happened between this father-daughter duo but than again why would they have been hugging each other. As much as he wa interested in knowing what happened. He chose not to be noisy and go back home. He was quite tired too and needed rest maybe more than her.
NEXT MORNING
The ride back to Goenka Villa was quite last night as Naira chose to be quite. Kartik did try to talk to her but her answer contained not more than 3 words at a time. He too stopped talking and soon she feel asleep in the car itself. It was a calm and pleasant morning in the Goenka Villa. Kartik and Naira were still sleeping peacefully until there was a knock on the door. It broke Kartik's sleep as Naira covered her face and ears with a pillow so he had to get up and check who was it.
Mansi: Good Morning bhaiyaaaaa
Kartik: mansi tu itni subha
Mansi: Haa voh dadi aap aur bhabhi ko niche bula rhi hai.
Kartik: kya yaar sone bhi nhi dete
Mansi: kyu raat mei kya kiya
Kartik: bohat bolne lagi hai tu bhi aaj kal. Shubham se door raha kar.
Mansi: whatever pehla aap fresh hoke niche aayiye.
Mansi went away while Kartik closed the door behind him. He turned and saw Naira sleeping peacefully. He smiled at her sleeping posture and went to wake her up. He still didn't know what exactly happened but chose to give her time. Though he came be impatient sometimes yet he knew he can't force her. He hasn't been on good terms with her from last few weeks and didn't know what was the matter with her father. He didn't even know what exactly was happening in her life right now.
