Naira was massaging Kartik's feet while kartik was busy in his phone. Just than he remembered he forgot to ask her that why she broke her phone.

Kartik: naira
Naira: hmm
Kartik: tumne apna phone kyu toda. I know voh gir kar nhi balki phek kar tuta hai

Naira who was just trying hard to act normal stiffened when he asked why she broke her phone and kartik realised her body posture too. He shook her and again asked her what happened.

Kartik: kya hua
Naira: kuch nhi voh tum kuch keh rahe the
Kartik: hmm voh tumhare phone ko kya hua
Naira: voh baar baar hang ho raha tha and on top of it I was having a bad headache. Being frustrated maine phek diya.
Kartik: seriously tum bhi
Naira: kyu tumne akele ne cheeze todane ka theka le rakha hai
Kartik: nhi nhi aisa kisne kaha jo marzi todo mujhe kya

Kartik shrugged off and continued scrolling through his phone. He thought maybe he was just overthinking while naira got busy massaging his feet again once he got busy in his phone. Maybe she wasn't ready to inform him about kabir or wanted to talk privately.

Once naira was done she shifted his feet on the couch and got up from her place. She decided to go towards the kitchen and help the ladies but kartik stopped her again. Before naira could take a step kartik interrupted.

Kartik: kidhar madam
Naira: kartik plz stop it now. Mai theek hu ab.
Kartik: no way mai koi risk nhi le raha
Naira: kaisa risk
Kartik: dekho tumhare headache ho raha tha right toh tumne frustration k chakar mei phone tod diya. Agar phirse tumhare headache hua I am sure tum mujhe hi pheko gi
Shubham: kyu
Kartik: kyuki sabse zyada yeh mujhse hi frustrate hoti isliye mai koi risk nhi le raha. Aaj tum koi kaam nhi karogi and that's final
Naira(irritated):  kuch bhi huh
Kartik(pulling her back): dekho abhi irritate bhi ho rhi ho. Irritation kab frustration mei badal jaye pta bhi nhi lagega.
Naira(sitting next to him): kartik
Kartik: hmm
Naira: jab aaj tum gire the kaise gire the. I mean kahi galti se sar k bal toh nhi gire the
Kartik: kyu mai

As soon as he realized what she meant he glared at her while she chuckled seeimg his reaction. Others were kind of enjoying their everyday banter except dadi and gayu.

Kartik: tumhe sharam nhi aati tumhare pati ko lagi hai aur tum oska mazak bana rhi ho
Naira: abhi massage toh ki
Kartik(showing his elbow): yaham bhi lagi thi

Naira couldn't help but smile at his actions. No doubt he was troubling her without a reason but still she was loving it. While kartik couldn't help but act as a stubborn kid. He knew she won't listen him unless he will act so. He too was loving their banter. Everyone in the family didn't disturbed them except for shubham who kept commenting to spice up their banter.

Naira: bas ho gya ab mai thak gyi hu kartik ab
Kartik: arrey ek aur jagah dard ho rhi hai
Naira: kahan
Kartik(taking her hand in his and keeping it on his heart): yahan
Naira: kyu
Kartik: meri biwi mujhe bhav hi nhi de rhi. Mai kabse ose kisi na kisi bahane se apne pass rokne ki koshish kar raha hu lekin voh hai ki bhav hi nhi de rhi

Naira gave him an impossible look while kartik gave her an innocent look. He did expected some comeback but she didn't.

Shubham: kya bhabhi aap kya has rhi bhaiya ki bato pe.
Naira: shubham tumhara bhai na mendhak hai sara din tar tar karta rehta. Ab mai kya karu
Shubham: lekin aap bhi toh sherni ho
Kartik(interrupting): kisne kaha sherni hai maine iska naam badal diya hai
Mansi: ab kya rakha
Kartik: yeh sherni nhi billi hai
Mansi: matlab
Kartik: matlab kittu ki kitty

Everyone who was silent brusted into a laughter while kartik just smiled. They were not reacting much to their conversation but couldn't hold themselves anymore. On the other hand, when kartik mentioned about billi she got lost in her thoughts. Kartik who noticed her lost shkaed her and asked what happened. She didn't reply but gave him a smile.
