IN KAIRA'S ROOM

Kartik entered his room after a hectic day at office. He drove back to his office after bidding bye to aditi and Karan and dropping Naira back at Goenka Villa. He saw Naira sitting on the bed while lost in her world. Though he was tired yet he thought to talk to her once. Seeing her restless wouldn't let him live in peace. He kept his bag on the couch and made his way towards her.

Kartik(sitting next to her): heyy
Naira: hii
Kartik: you alright
Naira: of course mujhe kya hoga.(getting up) why don't you get freshen up.
Kartik(pulling her back and making her sit in his lap): Is it because of papa
Naira(looking into his eyes ): I am fine Kartik. I know I have to talk to him and I will. I am just scared for his health.
Kartik(tucking her hairs behind her ears): He will be alright. We will somehow convince him. All you need is to talk to him.
Naira(looking at him with a hope): Can we tell bhai about this plz. You know he will be hurt if he gets to know
Kartik: its not our place to tell him Naira. Why don't you talk to him straight instead of involving naksh.Sorry to say but you are being stubborn here.
Naira: toh voh bhi kam ziddi nhi hai kartik. Why he is being stubborn and not ready to get operated. He is just taking advantage of the situation.
Kartik: Don't you feel it is high time you should move on and forgive them. Its been a year.
Naira: I want to talk to bhai once
Kartik: Naira he is already dealing with so many responsibilities. It will just increase his stress.

Naira reluctant agreed as she knew Naksh would be hurt if he comes to know she was aware about this and didn't tell him. She was about to get up when he tightened his hold and before she could protest he kept his lips on her. Their lips moved in sync with each other. The kiss was gentle but filled with love. Kartik broke the kiss when she felt out of breath. He wrapped his arms around her while she rested her head on his chest. He knew she needed him and his support. He was aware how difficult was for her to open her heart out to someone but he was helpless. He wanted her to open up about her insecure with her parents as it was only way that they could reconcile. He couldn't help but force her to talk with them.

Kartik was about to go and take a shower but Naira pushed him aside and rushed to the washroom. Kartik frowned at her retreating figure as she pushed him but later followed her when he heard some voice. He entered inside the washroom and saw her emptying her guts in the basin. He kept his clothes in the side and rushed to her. He holded her hairs and rubbed her back to soothe her uneasiness while vomitting. Once she was done, he helped her wash her face.

Kartik: aur khao bahar ka khana. (mimicking her voice)Kartik mujhe bhi pav bhaji khaani hai.
Naira: tumne hi toh car roki thi. Maine kab bola tha k mujhe street food khana hai
Kartik: pav bhaji ka maine bola tha
Naira: kitne dusht ho tum. Mai yahan bimar hu aur tumhe taane marne ki padhi hai
Kartik: ab kya karu tumhi se sikha hai. Ab chalo bahar.
Naira: I will manage. You can freshen up sab log dinner k liye wait kar rahe honge.

Kartik shaked his head and picked her up in his arms. Later he placed her on the bed and gave her a glass of water. She was about to drink when he asked to wait and gave her a pill to take along with the water.

Kartik: take this it will reduce you uneasiness.
Naira: nope I am good.
Kartik: take it Naira. It will help you
Naira: tum businessman ho ya phir doctor.
Kartik: agar pta hota k tumse shaadi hone wali hai toh pakka doctor hi banta business mei jaane ki jagah.
Naira: very funny I just can't start laughing.
Kartik: Good for you and now take it Naira
Naira: Kartik I am too young to be dependent on the pills for everything
Kartik: and I am soo in love with you to see you restless. These pills will give you relief. Jaan nhi lene wali tumhari
Naira: I am too young to die

Naira huffed in annoyance and snatched the pills from him. He would melt her heart with some statements that she couldn't help but listen to his requests. Kartik suggested her to take some rest while he takes a shower amd made his way towards the bathroom. Later, when he came out he saw her sleeping peacefully so he thought to let her rest and made his way dowstairs.
