IN EVENING

Kartik had a hectic schedule as the deadline for the project was coming and still there was lots of work pending and he needed to supervise. He was quite annoyed yet tried to maintain himself calm. He was right now in his cabin going through some documents when dhruv came and knocked on the door.

Kartik:  dhruv!
Dhruv: hi, I hope maine disturb nhi kiya
Kartik: nhi aisi koi baat nhi hai. Kya hua koi kaam hai
Dhruv: nhi voh mai tumhe inform karne aaye tha k tumhe raat mei ek meeting attend karni hai.
Kartik: meeting? kiske saath?
Dhruv: ha voh actually Mr. Sharma ne bataya k kuch urgent hai isliye I don't know why. He just asked me to inform you.
Kartik: oh theek hai mai chala jaunga tum conference room tayar karvao

Kartik was confused when the meeting was held. He just prayed that there is not extension for this project as he really didn't want to stay away from his family anymore and wanted to go back. He not only missed naira but also his whole family. He was checking up his schedule when he noticed the month. He was shocked that how can he forget this such a special day. He mentally slapped his head and cursed himself under his breath.

KARTIK'S POV

OH SHIT! Maine Yeh kaise bhul gya. Agar naira ko pta chala k mai is din ko hi bhul gya hu tao pakka mujhe nhi chodegi. BTW ek minute yeh madam ko khud ko yaad bhi hai k nhi. Call karke he puchta hu.

IN NAIRA'S SIDE

Naira was too tired after attending back to back scheduled meetings. She had no energy left and was on her way back to home. She requested Manish that she will talk to him in night as she was tired. He too agreed and asked her to go home. Naira was scrolling through her phone when she got Kartik's call.

Naira: hello
Kartik(lovingly): Naira
Naira: hmm
Kartik(raising his eyebrows): kya hmm mai kitne pyaar se tumhara naam le raha hu aur tum hoke
Naira(extra sweetly): hii Kartik
Kartik: yeh jyada ho gya
Naira(heavy tone): kartik
Kartik: tum na rehne do. Acha yeh batao kya kar rhi ho
Naira: kuch nhi ghar vaapis jaa rhi hu. Tum?
Kartik: mai thoda sa late ho jaunga voh ek meeting hai isliye
Naira: oh tao dinner
Kartik: don't worry I will have it
Naira: kuch kaam thaa
Kartik: kyu mai vaise call nhi kar sakta kya
Naira: kar sakte ho lekin tum normally mujhe es time call nhi karte es liye puchna maine
Kartik: haa actually naira voh mujhe puchna tha k tum(realising something)
Naira: kya tum
Kartik(changing the topic): tum I mean tumhe papa ne kyu bulaya tha aaj.
Naira: mai gyi hi nhi abhi
Kartik: oh acha vaise mai keh rha tha k tumhe yaad hai yeh kaunsi month chal rhi hai
Naira: hmm yaad hai kyu
Kartik: tao phir tumhe yeh bhi yaad hoga k

Kartik was about to continue when naira reached home. She interuppted him and told him she will talk to him once she freshen up. She was actually tired and has no strength to talk to him and guess anything. She ended the call and made her way inside.

IN KARTIK'S CABIN

Kartik sighed in disbelief as his wife forget the date THE DAY they both met each other for the first time. He was first going to remind her but later dropped the plan as to see whether she remembers it or not. He was quite disappointed but respected that she was really busy due to her meetings and decided to remind her later.

KARTIK'S POV

MADAM ko yaad hi nhi hai chalo koi baat nhi. Mujhe tao yaad haina mai khud yaad dila dunga. Lekin kuch plan bhi karna padega Mr. Kartik Goenka aur yeh long distance wala celebration nhi karna aur vaapis Jane k liye kuch sochna padega.

He badly wanted to celebrate it and decided to find some way out. He just collected his things and made his way towards the conference room as it was almost the time for the meeting. He kept his thoughts aside and went to attend the meeting.
