Selena's POV
"Demi! Don't even!" I exclaimed laughing as my best friend,Demi Lovato squirted me with a water gun. We were at Magic Mountain, hanging out. I needed some cheering up, my boyfriend, Zac Efron just died well, last year but I need to get over him. Demi is engaged to Joe Jonas, her long time beau. "Look Sel, you're having fun!" Demi exclaimed. I nodded. "I needed this." I said. Demi smiled. I smiled. We were walking over to the popsicle stand. I paid for my grape popsicle and by accident smushed it on this guy behind me. "Oh shoot." I said. "It's ok." He chuckled. "Let me help you clean up." I giggled. His laugh was contagious. I ushered him to a nearby table and we both sat down. "What's your name?" He asked. "Selena Gomez." I smiled. "I'm Zedd." He smiled back. "I'm sorry." I apologized again. "No problem...Selena Gomez." He smiled. "Thanks...Zedd." I giggled. "So, I better get going, my friend is waiting." I said. "Wait, can I have your number?" He asked. I giggled. "Sure, can I have your phone?" I asked. He gave me his iPhone. I gave him mine. We switched numbers and I walked off feeling happy.
It's been two days since I met Zedd. He's still stuck in my head. And I don't mind. My phone rang. The contact showed ZEDD😎. I giggled. I answered. "Hello Zedd." I said. "Hello Selena Gomez." Zedd said. "So, what's up?" I asked. "I was wondering if you would go out with me Saturday." He said. "Ok, where and what time?" I asked. "The pier and 6:30." He told me. I said yes and hung up.

Zedd's POV
I sighed in relief. I hoped she'd say yes. I thought it was cute how she wrote SELENA😘 as her contact in my phone. I hope she'll make a kissy face at me.

Selena's POV
I was getting ready for my date. I was wearing a burgundy leather jacket, a white tee and a pair of jeans. I was going to the garage to my Jeep. I drove to the pier.
I met Zedd at a taco stand. "Hey, I feel overdressed." I smiled as I saw him. He was wearing a white tee and jeans. "You look spectacular." He complimented. I blushed. "Thanks, you look rather dapper as well." I smiled. He smiled. "Thanks, so let's order." He said. We ordered out food and sat at the edge of the dock. Our feet dangled in the water. "So, Selena Gomez, where do you work?" Zedd asked me. "At a PR agency." I said. "I like to DJ on the side." He said. "Cool, do you work at a club?" I asked. He nodded. "Glow." He replied. I nodded. "I uh went there, with my ex-boyfriend." I said. "Oh, are you friends?" He asked. "He passed away, a year ago." I said, emotionally. "Oh, I'm sorry." He said. I nodded. "Its ok, it's been a year, I'm so over him." I lied. "I know you're lying." He told me. After a few minutes if silence he said "You still love him don't you?" He asked. "I can't, he's dead." I said. "You can still love the dead Selena." he said. "I would know." He mumbled under his breath. "Did you lose someone?" I asked. "My wife, Eva." He said. "I'm really sorry." I said. "She died three years ago." He said. "I feel like if he were still here, he'd tell me to stop worrying and then he'd make me laugh until I felt happy again." I smiled. He smiled. "He seems like a really good guy." Zedd told me. "Eva would make me so something adventurous and new and we'd have fun exploring the world." Zedd remembered. I laughed. "That sounds amazing." I said. He looked with admiration in his eyes. "It is." He said. He leaned in, I leaned in, our lips met and it formed pure passion. Our tongues intertwined as if they were kissing. We released. I breathed heavily. "I like you Selena Gomez." Zedd smiled. "I like you Zedd." I smiled.
