"you did?" hopper asks as el nods, "see, i'm improving here. we hung, we are better."

"i knew you could do it, kid." he smiles.

"i knew i could. i think we are on better terms. i can be around him now at least without screaming at him." she says as he nods, "good, so work on being friends so you can tell him."

"yeah, i know." she nods, "okay, i have to go. i'm taking lia ice skating with the party."

"ice skating!?" he exclaims as she nods, "don't worry, it'll be safe. if peppa pig can do it, why can't she?"

he nods, "that doesn't make sense but okay. have fun then. work on the relationship."

"yes, i know." she grabs her bag, "lia! we are leaving!"

"that's a big bag." he comments.

"yes, lia needs a lot of stuff." she states and waves before walking towards the living room to grab aurelia, "let's go, babygirl."

aurelia skips over to her and holds her hand, "bye grandpapa!"

hopper waves from the doorway of the kitchen. he takes a bite out of his cereal and removes the spoon, "bye princess lia!"

el chuckles and waves as well before she opens the door and leaves. "where we go?" aurelia asks.

"ice skating with the party." el informs and sways their arms.

aurelia stops walking and holds her arms out, "mama, tired. upsie."

el chuckles and unlocks her car, "we're driving so you can sit the whole way." she opens the door as aurelia smiles widely.

el puts her bag in the seat and picks up aurelia to place her in her car seat.

"why are so giggly?" el asks as she buckles her in.

aurelia smiles and giggles again making el smile and kiss her cheek, "you want your toy?"

aurelia nods.

"alright," el grabs her stuff toy from the bag and hands it to her before shutting the door.

she circles around the car and then gets into the drivers seat before plugging the aux cord into her phone.

"hold on, max is being annoying." el answers the call as it connects to the car, "i'm trying to drive here, max."

"WHERE ARE YOU!?" max shouts into the phone.

"tone the volume down. danger warning, toddler in the car!" el cries as aurelia giggles.

"everyone is here except for you." she says.

"well, you try getting ms aurelia ready in the mornings! i'm getting there max, you're only holding me in my damn driveway! GOODBYE!" el shouts and declines the call before sighing.

"song?" aurelia asks as el nods, "i'm getting there."

"yay!" aurelia cheers as she chuckles and plays her playlist.
