"Hey, I'm glad you came to the party!" Demi said to me.
"Thanks for inviting me," I said hugging them back.
"There are some refreshments near the DJ's table, the pool is right there, and there are some good people around. Have fun." They smiled.
"Thanks." I grinned.
The party was great. There were lots of friendly people to talk to. There were games that they were playing and a few of them, I joined in.
I went swimming in the pool and Demi's friends helped me feel comfortable enough to strike up a conversation.
"Hey! You must be Demi's special friend." A woman with fluffy black hair said to me. "My name's Sirah."
She reminded me of a geisha doll. Plump red lips, broad cheekbones, and hair in high pigtails. Her eyes were a small almond shape. She was gorgeous.
"Yeah, I am. My name's Y/n. Nice to meet you." I say, shaking her hand.
"Trust me. I know who you are." She said, shaking my hand. "Demi talks about you all the time. Every chance Demi gets, it's Y/n this and Y/n that. They never shut up." She laughs.
"Really? They do?" I beamed.
"Yeah. They told me how they feel about you." She smiled.
"Oh..." I blushed.
"You don't feel the same way?"
"No, I do. I really do... I was just afraid to say something because I didn't want to ruin anything between us."
"I know how Demi is. I know that little glow they have in their eyes when they talk about something they're passionate about. Especially when it's about something or someone they love." Sirah said as she took a drink from her cup with a smirk.
"Oh, wow... I— I don't know what to say." I smiled.
"Just try it out. And be careful with them because I won't take it easy on you if you make them cry." She giggled.
I laughed at Sirah's joke.
"You're laughing. I'm being dead serious." She said, still chuckling.
"That's not gonna happen. I'll be gentle." I smiled.
"Good answer." She grinned.
I chuckled once more and received a text from Demi. It was really sultry.
