{Demi's POV}

The screen on my laptop displayed the Skype icon until my girlfriend's face popped up.

"Hey!" I exclaimed with joy.

"Hi, baby. How are you doing?" She smiled.

"Not so good. I miss you." I pouted.

She leaned her head to the side and sulked in empathy.

"Awww, I'll be back soon. My trip is almost up anyway."

"That's a relief to hear. Speaking of which, how's the volunteering going?"

"It's going well. There's a lot of homeless kids here in France so things got hectic." She replied while leaning her chin on her hand.

"Kept you pretty busy, huh?" I asked.

"Yeah. They had me running around and getting supplies like crazy. Now I'm resting peacefully in my hotel, talking to you." She sighed in relief.

"Sounds busy. Wait, what time is it over there?" I asked.

"Almost 1:00 am. Why?"

"Babe, it's late. You should be sleeping."

"I know. I should be, but I wanted to see your face before I went to sleep." She smiled.

I smiled and started blushing. She's sweet when she wants to be.

"You're such a sappy nerd." I giggled.

"Just being honest."

"I appreciate it." I chuckled.

We were still smiling and looking at each until I changed the subject.

"Babe, how long until you have to be up in the morning?"

"Oh, we get a late day tomorrow. We don't start until noon." She smirked.

"Oh, which means you get to sleep in." I grinned.

"Correct." She cheesed.

"Fantastic. You deserve the rest."

"I do. I'm always busy. I should be back soon."

"Can't wait."

"Me either. But, since I'm kinda overworked, I need a laugh. Volunteering isn't always fun."

"Would you like me to entertain you until you go to sleep?"

"That would be nice." She chuckled

"Great! I learned this new dance called the SpongeBob and it goes a little something like this..." I said as I got up from my chair.

I prepped myself for the dance I was going to do and began obnoxiously moving my arms and legs.

Y/n laughed as I danced around. When I was good and tired, I sat back down.

"You liked my dance?" I grinned.

"Yes. It was awesome." She said while still laughing.

"I'm happy you liked it." I smiled.

"I loved it. Hopefully, I'll see more of it when I return."

"You will. I'll dance whenever you want." I smiled.

"I love you." She grinned.

"I love you more. Please get some rest, babe."

"But I wanna talk to you." She pouted once more.

"I know but you need the rest. You look tired. I wanna make sure you get enough sleep." I replied softly.

"Ok. If you say so. I love you." She said smiling.

"I love you too." She chuckled lightly.

"See ya, hon," I said before blowing a kiss to the camera.

"Later, babe." She said while waving.

We hung up and I closed my laptop before getting up and going to my living room. I can't wait until she gets back home.
