I'm so busy with homework that I hardly have time to slip Harry a text before Monday morning. I decide to pick him up, finding it a lot more convenient than letting him walk, especially when I have to drop off the twins anyway. He doesn't say much, but then neither do I because it's a stupid day.

I let him tie my tie before we separate. I then meet up with Liam at his locker, determined to tell him the truth. I can't keep it from him anymore, not when I'm so very close to becoming Harry's boyfriend. I'm still not ready, not entirely, but I've come to realize that I might never be. And I want to ease Liam into it, but what comes out of my mouth is rather forward.

"Harry wants to eat me out."

Liam drops his books on the floor. "Excuse me?"

I crouch down to help him pick them up. "I was gonna ease you into it, but... well, this was effective, too, wasn't it?"

"I think I need an explanation."

I tell him everything from our first kiss to yesterday's blowjob. "I think I'm falling in love with him."

"Right, okay, that's... well, not that surprising, really."

I frown, but of course he fucking knew. "I've been meaning to tell you, I just... well, you're falling for Zayn, and I didn't wanna steal your thunder or whatever."

He laughs—he actually laughs. "It hasn't exactly been a picnic, Louis. I'm begging you to steal my thunder."

I smile. "I'm not even trying to run from it, you know."

"I think that's because it feels right to you. He's turned everything upside down for you, hasn't he?"

"Definitely," I snort. "I'm a little nervous, though, about letting him eat me out."

"Do you not want him to?"

"No, I definitely do, I just... I don't know."

"It's uh... it's crazy intimate."

"Exactly."

"If you trust him, you'll be fine, Louis. But you might wanna shave first."

I instantly feel the heat rush into my cheeks. "Do you think he's gonna care?"

"Probably not. And maybe it's just me, but I can't imagine being eaten out without having shaved first."

I haven't thought about it, not really, but I suppose he's right. I honestly don't think Harry would give a fuck, but I would probably feel better being hairless down there.

I take a breath. "Right, okay."

"How are you feeling today?"

"I'm okay."

"Louis."

"I don't really wanna talk about it."

He gives me a hug, one that's tighter than usual, then walk with me to class. Harry can tell I'm in a bad mood, too, but he doesn't ask me about it until after practice when I sit down next to him on the bleachers.

"Louis, what's going on today?"

I look out at field, fiddling with a lose string on my socks. "It's uh... it's the anniversary of my mom's death. I'm just a little out of it, I guess."

"It's been two years, then?"

"Yeah

"I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault."

"How about we go visit her?"

I look at him. "I'd like that."
