Title: Reacting to the other one crying about something

One would like to think that crying is a sign of weakness but it is more of tired of being too strong for so long that it makes you stronger and get back up. This had happened to Hanzo.

For years that man had been haunted by nightmares and post memories of him and the massacre of his clan. Despite the lack of sleep. He would meditate in order to calm his mind before setting his emotions take over without hesitation. This was all too familiar for his partner, Kuai Liang. The two had known each other for quite some time to know that these emotions were all common. Even Kuai had went through some devastating life change, with the death of his brother, friends, he was sure he would have not survived after being cyberized but Hanzo had saved him just like how Kuai Liang had saved Hanzo and helped retore his humanity and freed him from his misled vengeance from Quan Chi.

However, there were slight difference from the two. Hanzo was more of private when it comes to deep talks but he was willing to be there when Kuai would go through the aftermath of the night terrors and sleep paralysis he had endured. When Kuai saw the signs of Hanzo experiencing his own difficulties, Hanzo would disregard them as a small matter and Kuai didn't want to argue it but Kuai was really worried for the older man.

One night, Kuai finally came home to the Lin Kuei Temple and was greeted by his clan members and soon heard that Hanzo came by and waited by his room, that made Kuai smiled, he really missed Hanzo, he hasn't seen him for a while ever since the two were busy over their alliance and with the Special forces. He jogged up to the stairs, "Hanzo! I have returned I –".

Hanzo looked up, dried up tears on his cheek, caught Kuai's breath and heart sting. "W-What's wrong?". Hanzo broke eye contact and rubbed his eye, as If he would avoid looking like he was wiping his tears. "I was just, have not seen you in a while and there were no updates on your return so I thought you were –"

Kuai jumped on him, quickly wrapping the older man to a tight embrace, "I'm here now, and I missed you too". The other quickly returning the same embrace and this would be the first time Hanzo had felt vulnerable in a good way. Of course, all this time, the strong façade had now crumble in front of the man he was afraid of losing. When pulled away from the embrace, Kuai had wiped away the tears and smiled. Hanzo again returning the smile and flicking Kuai's forehead.

"Hanzo!"

Hanzo sighed, "How come you didn't update on me on your whereabouts and details of your mission.". Kuai pouted, "I mean it was an undercover mission so I thought I-"

This time he was smacked on the forehead, "I'm sorry". Hanzo huffed and ruffled Kuai's hair, Kaui looked up, "I apologize, I did not mean to hurt you like that but, welcome back Kuai Liang". With a huge smile and teary eyes, Kuai nodded happily, "Good to be back".
