I Wasn't Ready to Say Goodbye

"Are you certain that you want to do this?"

"Are there any other options left?"

"Afraid not. I guess I was not ready to say goodbye, especially to you".

"I would not say that, for sure we will see each other again, If I was selfish enough, I would like for you to join me but I know better to leave the clan unattended and defenseless".

"Kuai Liang, are you assuming that my clan is weak that they cannot defend themselves and the honor of the Shirai Ryu?". Kuai tried to hold his laugh but soon burst out, having Hanzo to pull him and process to poke Kuai's sides, he was indeed ticklish. Kuai tried to push the other man away, "Shirai Ryu idiot, let me go this instant".

Hanzo playfully gasp by the comment, "You dare to call me such name? Yet you still love me so aren't you the idiot?". Kuai pushed himself off, "you indeed are lucky that I love you. Well time for my departure". Hanzo was reluctant to let go but he had to. It was recommended where Kuai needed to have a break from everything after the incident with Frost and Sektor. The number of Lin Kuei members were kidnapped and massacred over the newly formed Cyber Lin Kuei had took a toll on Kuai's mental health nad decided that he needed a break from everything.

"Bye Hanzo".

"Contact me when you're there?"

"Of course". Once Kuai waved, he then starts his journey leaving Hanzo sighed, he doesn't know when will Kuai return but for sure he would wait every moment for him.

Few Days Later

"How are you my love?". Kuai was on video call with Hanzo and the others because Johnny was the one bragged about how he misses Kuai and he was fake crying on Hanzo. Jax and Kenshi could only shook their heads in embarrassment.

"Good, thank you, just finished hiking, I see why Earthrealmers liked doing this as a form of relaxation".

"I miss you blueberry!". Johnny grabbed the phone to get in view and Kuai rolled his eyes, "I don't miss you and stop calling me that".

"Hey!". Johnny pouted over the comment. He then called our Hanzo who was gladly grabbed back the phone. "What is next on your travel list?"

"Sleep, finally".

"I could sense your laziness would overwhelm you and you might be a panda bear".

"Whatever Hasashi". A smirk appeared on Hanzo's face as he teleport back to his room in the SF base, "I don't think you should be calling me that, no respect for the elderly". He could head Kuai scoffed and flopped back to the nearby bench before going back to his hotel room. "Oh I'm sorry old man". Hanzo eye twitched over the sarcastic comment.

"Once you return from your so called trip, I will have you bend over and take me like a brat you are".

Kuai went quiet, and made Hanzo smirk over the returned fire moment, "flushed huh?". Kuai hid his face with his arm. "Whatever, I'll go now, need that sleep".

"Rest well my snowflake".

"I like that name. Snowflake, you be firefly?"

"Good enough".

This had been a routine with Kuai and Hanzo keep in contact with each other and somehow Johnny would add in himself in the call and having no privacy but Kuai appreciated the behavior. Funnily, Kuai would find Johnny quite similar to his longtime friend, Hanzo had tried to remove the other man but Johnny kept coming back and he could hear Kuai laughing over his frustration. Almost 3 weeks in Kuai's holiday trip, he was calling Hanzo while walking back to his hotel room when he could feel a sudden chill to his spine, and it was not from him. It was something else, when he turned around, there was indeed no one.
