PART 2
Later that time, Kuai groaned as he felt his eyes slowly open, sitting up. Head still spinning but he couldn't remember why he was like this. Trying to look at his surrounding, it was unknown yet comfortable as if he was home. Was he? Soon his eyes fixed to the figure by the corner, a strange man who was asleep by the chair there and if animated enough, some Z's were coming out of his nose.
Slowly getting up, he sneak forward to the person, barely touching the man when he was suddenly flipped to his back. "Try to murder me in my sleep little brother?"
Kuai had his eyes squinted, "Brother? Are you my brother? That is good, listen, I don't really remember much or anything but what happened?". Bi Han frowned by the response, "What games are you playing Kuai Liang?"
"I don't know, I really couldn't remember, I swear, Kuai Liang? IS that my name?". The older man sighed as he got up and left the room leaving Kuai clueless, summoning Saibot by the next room. "Did you hit him too hard to the point he has amnesia now?". Saibot slowly nodded but shrugged, he too was confuse, and Bi Han stared at him long enough before smirking, "Genius".
"Who is that?"
Saibot wanted to disappear but Bi Han already walked up to his brother, "Lucky for you, we have a lot to talk about", and with that Kuai Liang nodded, this is going to be fun for Bi Han.
Meanwhile, on the other side, everyone knew in their hearts and minds that Hanzo was quiet, a bit too quiet for comfort but he had dived in the search for Kuai Liang. As well as his clan's affairs and everyone took note that Hanzo had not left work at all. No breaks, besides personal matters but his eyes tell all. He looked nub, emotionless, cold, no hellfire could bring that away. This had went on everyday now, not sure how long they had been searching for the Cyromancer and with no progress at all,, it seem a right thing to do is give up but unlike Hanzo, he was still determined to find his partner but if he doesn't find him, everything didn't matter to him.
He had failed again, he had failed to save his wife and son, and now he failed to save his lover. Everything was going so well in his life, until it all came crashing down like it was nothing but the weight was too much for the older man. Hanzo brought up his arm, covering his teary eyes and let it all flow when there was a hand on him. Pulling away a little to see through the tears were his friends, they knew he was mourning and still do.
Soon all agree to take some time off from everything, from work, anything. Each and every single one of them told stories about them and Kuai Liang and Hanzo felt so grateful over how Kuai had overcome so many offs in his life and managed to make all impact on so many lives with his kindness. However he knew he was still in denial over the fact that there were no body found and identified as Kuai Liang, all was left was the headband Hanzo had still kept. With all the time that was gone so long, it felt months ever since and he would not dare say it but if the possibility or there is no chance of finding Kuai.
There wouldn't be Lin Kuei anymore, it was Kuai alone, excluding Bi-Han and now, the clan is considered extinct. Hanzo was now returning to his clan and unfortunately had to bear of the bad news to everyone and they too had their own ways to mourn over the loss of the Lin Kuei. Entering his room, he was able to mourn in his own way and then opening up his wardrobe, there were a few left of Kuai's clothes. His travel bag was recovered 2 weeks after his disappearance and nothing out of the ordinary any item was stolen or missing from t. Hanzo then took out the clothes, especially a sweater Hanzo had given him that was able to regulate with his body temperature for both climates. Hugging it to his chest somehow it stabbed to his heart.
