I Don't Want Your Apology

Hanzo groaned in frustration with the amount of workload between the Special Forces and his own clan with the amount of missions compiled and needed to be done made him didn't have time to check on his partner Kuai Liang. With the amount of time spent on missions, meetings, there was indeed no time to even paid a small visit the Lin Kuei.

After requesting a time off, most likely weeks which was gladly granted, Hanzo teleported to the Lin Kuei temple, walked around the small village while being greeted by the familiar faces of the elderly, the common guards who were on guard and few children who somehow looked up to Hanzo. Once reached the main area, the clans people had informed on Kuai's recent departure.

When asks on Kuai's whereabouts, they were reluctant at first but point he had to go somewhere but did not specify where and what was the reason. Hanzo could only nod so he went to Kuai's room, with no one in the room, the sense of coldness wasn't there, it was somehow warm, indicating that Kuai went out for quite sometime. Sure Kuai was capable of taking care of himself of course, he was not a child but Hanzo could not help it, he was almost exiting the room when he felt a gush of wind hit him, Kuai had returned and he had few bandages wrapped on his cheek and arms.

"Kuai Liang!". Kuai turned to the person who had called him and Hanzo jogged up to him, quickly embracing the man. "Hanzo! You're here! I thought you were still on mission, I was about to contact the SF regarding your situation". Hanzo smiled, "I miss you too, but I am now here, I had managed to request some time off from all and they gladly granted it, no pressure".

"No Force or torture to get what you want?".

The Pyromancer rolled his eyes, when he pulled away for the embrace, "How are you? Why are you injured? Where have you been? What Happened?". Kuai could almost broke into laughter by the amount of questions, such a caring man, he almost felt like he doesn't deserve the man. "Just few scratches along the way, you know me, trying to act young, unlike someone", Kuai teased made Hanzo scoffed in response.

"At least I'm not that reckless unlike someone".

"Point taken".

"So where did you go? Did Liu Kang sent you on a mission that I do not know of?"

Kuai shook his head, "It was n mission, I just needed to be away for a while, with the paperwork had me on cramps like a pregnant lady so had a meeting with the others and they too deserve a break form all, we'll get back to work soon for now". Hanzo wanted to know more but he did not want to pressure and ruin the moment they are having right now.

Kuai had his smirk on his face when he pulled Hanzo closer to his body, only their armor got in the way of physical contact, "Well, since you are here, both you and I have some catch up to do right? We have tons of stories to tell, especially in the bedroom".

That question alone sent chills to Hanzo's spine and heat on his lower part of body, "You are right".

Days Later

Both Hanzo and Kuai had been spending time together and catching up stories especially Hanzo who had been on so many missions it felt like a multi chaptered story for Kuai, however once Kuai shared his, he would tell every story except when he had his so called adventure. When questioned, Kuai would avoid it by changing to another story, Hanzo did not want to assume he was nosy but no pressure.

Weeks later, the two finally had gone back to their work life and Hanzo had noticed a lot of unfamiliarity with Kuai's routine with his clan and whenever Hanzo had question the clan's people. They were all keep on insisting that Kuai Liang ad gone with a new routine but yet again. No specific locations and reasons, he tried is best to push those negative assumptions and thoughts away but somehow would grow his frustrations so he went to the Special Forces base, probably to the training simulation center might cool his emotions.
