When we've arrived at my house, I didn't see Jeonghan's car anywhere. Either he already went home or they're still hanging out together. Not that I mind. If it helps making him feels better then it's alright

Jihoon and I entered the house and it was really quite and I didn't see Joshua's shoes anywhere, so I'm just gonna bet with he's still outside.

"Shua hyung's not home" asked Jihoon

"Seems like it. Jeonghan ssi and Seungcheol ssi are probably helping him out right now" I said as I sat down on the couch, exhausted

"Did you go by your ex's house earlier ? You did mention having to listen to two guys on the same problem" asked Jihoon

"Yuppppp" I replied as I slowly laid down on the couch, feeling sleepy

"You must've been really tired. You should rest. I'll wait for Shua hyung okay ?" he offered

"Thank you Jihoon, but it's alright. I can wait here" I smiled

"Nah you'd prolly fall asleep in 30 mins" he chuckled

"Who knowsssss. I'm insomniac nowadayssss" I said as I looked up, facing the ceiling

"How bad was it though ? Both of them" he asked

"It wasn't that bad. Not as bad as I was before" I said to him

"But I've only talked a bit with Shua so I'm not really sure" I added

"Jeongguk was quiet bad tho. He kept on apologizing for leaving me for her. It was kinda painful when he said that since I'm still hurt up to this day. But eh, things happened and I don't really wanna bring it up" I said as I closed my eyes

"That sounded bad. No wonder you're quiet exhausted. You yourself aren't really talkative and having to console people isn't your thing either" said Jihoon

"Yuppppp" I said as I let out of a sigh

"Is Shua hyung with Jeonghan hyung and Seungcheol hyung ?" he asked

"Yeah. Jeonghan ssi and Seungcheol ssi wanted Shua to feel better so they've decided to bring him somewhere that he likes I think. Shua said he did feel better than before, so it was right of me to rang up his best friends earlier" I replied

"As expected from his best friends" he laughed

It was quiet between us until I felt like asking him about something

"Jihoon ah" I broke the silence

He hummed in response

"Have you ever... Had a thought about dating me again ?" I asked

"It'd be a lie if I said no" he chuckle

"Trust me, I wanted to ask you out once again, but you said you were married so I can't do anything about it" he added

"You ?" he asked

"That's a given isn't it ? I was thinking of dating you again but I guess it wasn't how it's gonna go" I chuckled

"It was... Bittersweet for me I guess ? I'm not sure how to describe it, but it felt kinda sad for me" I added

"Perhaps... Do you still have feelings for me ??? I just wanna know" I asked

"Again, it's a lie if I say no" he replied

"Guess we're in the same shoes then" I sighed

"But you're married to one of my closest friends. It'd be wrong of me to hit on you" he chuckled

"You're right about that" I couldn't help but laugh

"I'm hoping this would be your last relationship. I'm tired upon seeing you suffer for god knows how long already" he sighed

"Well... That's a wish of mine too. If he's your close friend then... I can trust him right...?" I turned to him, hoping he'd say I can.

"As much as I wanna answer "yes".... I can't. I trust him I really do. But I just want you to keep your guards up okay ?" said Jihoon

"Oh... I see" I uttered

"May I... You know... Get to know about him more ? Back in highschool that is" I asked

Jihoon told me about him. How he was one of the top students, popular with girls and how he's kind of like a playboy back then. When I heard that, I was kind of worried of course. I mean people can change I know, but what if that behaviour is still within him ? That's what I'm scared about

"Though, he have changed though. Luckily" said Jihoon

"And if he ever treats you badly, we've got your back" Jihoon reassured me

"Thank you" I smiled

"You should probably take a nap. They'd probably take a long time to get back here" he chuckled

"Yeah, they'd prolly take longer" I said as I closed my eyes

I was dozing off and I felt something covering my waist which caused me to open my eyes

"We both know it's hard for you to sleep without something covering your waist" said Jihoon as he sat back down at the couch

"Thank you" I chuckled

"Sleep tight" said Jihoon

I hummed in response as I closed back my eyes.
