As I arrived back at home, I made sure everything's locked before heading to my bedroom to get some sleep. The sudden exhaustion I'm having now is insane so it's better if I get some sleep than staying up. That's what I did for sure.

Hours have passed as I've finally woken up from my slumber. It was already 5.30 PM by the time I've woken up.

Is Shua home yet ? If not I have to prepare dinner then. I better check it out

I got off of my bed and head downstairs to see if he's home or not. I don't think he is since it's quiet. I don't hear anything from the kitchen so I'm guessing he's not gonna be home anytime soon so I should cook something now.

I head to the kitchen as I tied up my hair. I prepared the ingredients and started to work on cooking. Around half an hour like that, I heard the door opened.

I hope he doesn't mind that I'm cooking something simple for tonight. I don't really have that much of energy to use at the moment.

"Oh ? You're home early ?" he greeted from the back

"Yeah, got permission to get off early" I replied as I turned around. He seemed exhausted, like REALLY exhausted. Maybe work has been hard on him today

"Did you had a hard time earlier ?" I asked and he nodded

"Poor you" I said to him as I felt sympathy towards him

"It's normal anyways. Just had a bit of extra work" said Joshua followed by a sigh

"There's some coffee that I made earlier, you should drink some" I said to him as I went to the sink to wash the utensils that I used

Before I was able to, he stopped me

"I'll do it instead. You've cooked so I should do my part" said Joshua

"E-eh ??? It's fine though" I responded

"It's not for me. Get some rest would ya ??? You seem even more tired than me" said Joshua as he gently pushed me away from the sink, taking away the utensils I've had in my hands earlier

"How was work for you ?" he asked as I sat down on a chair

"It was... Decent" I replied

"You sure ?? It doesn't sound like it" said Joshua

"I'm just a bit unwell. I fainted earlier" I responded and he immediately stopped doing what he was doing

"Sophia why didn't you tell me ?!" he scolded

"Were you having a fever ? How are you feeling now ? Is it something serious ?" he asked in a worried tone as he continued on washing the utensils

"The doctor said I was hypoglycemic, but luckily that wasn't the reason why I fainted. I've already gotten the medicines and I have to take care more of myself after this" I explained

He then let out a sigh of relief

"Then why did you fainted ???" he asked

"Uh... Um..." I fiddled with my fingers

"Soph ??? What's wrong ???" he asked as he turned off the tap.

"It's uh..." I pursed my lips

He came up to me

"Is it something private ??? If it is then I won't judge, so please tell me" said Joshua as he sounded really worried

"It's just..." I averted my eyes from him

"It's just ??" he asked

"I'm... Pregnant..." I said to him as I looked back at him

Joshua was shocked to hear that.

"W-wait-- I'm not imagining stuffs right ??" he asked in disbelief and I nodded

"You're not pranking me right ???" he asked

"Yupppp" I replied

"Oh my gosh..." he uttered

"Do you... Not like it...?" I asked as I was worried about his reaction

He IMMEDIATELY hugged me

"Oh my gosh Sophia thank you... Thank you so much !!!" Joshua said excitedly

"I'm so so sooooo happy Sophia. All of the stress I've had washed away oh my lord" he added as he was overjoyed

"How long have you been pregnant ???" he asked

"The doctor said it had been 3 weeks" I replied

"Have you told our parents about it ???" he asked

"Not yet" I replied

"Let's tell them later over a dinner ??? It'd be better to meet face to face" said Joshua

"I'm okay with that" I smiled

"I can't believe I'm gonna be a father omg !!" he sounded so excited while saying that

"I wasn't expecting that either" I chuckled

"Can you take a day off tomorrow ??? I just wanna celebrate it" Joshua asked

"I'll ask Jihoon about it" I responded

"Great !!! I really hope it'd be a yes cause I really want to spend some time with you tomorrow" said Joshua as he kissed my cheek

"I'm pretty sure he'd give me a green light" I giggled

"I can't wait to tell the boys about it !!! I'm sure they'd be sooooo happy to know about that !!!" said Joshua

"I'm sure they would" I said followed by a laugh

Joshua talked more about it and even thought about names already. He was just soooo excited and honestly he just looked so cute. The way his eyes sparkled, gosh I'm so happy I married him

"Okay okay enough talking Romeo. Go and take a bath, it had been like 30 minutes. You gotta wash the clothes today right ?" I said as I laughed

"Ah it has been that long already ?? Gosh, I was just so excited" he chuckled

"I'll see you later then" said Joshua

"Alright" I responded with a smile

He left shortly after and I went to my own room after I've put the food on the dining table and covering it with the food cover. Today's indeed a lovely day
