Esme rushed into Shakelicious and threw down her backpack in a hurry. "Guys, guys, guys! I think something happened to Amelia!"

Spencer and Sasha were also here and we all looked at her, confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"She... she called me just a few minutes ago. She said something like 'help', and that she was followed!" Esme answered. "What could she possibly be talking about? Her Instagram?"

"I don't think she was talking about her Instagram, Esme," Spencer chuckled.

"Stop laughing," I said firmly. Everyone looked at me. "I think she's being followed. I think someone's stalking her. Sasha, remember those photos from this morning?"

Sasha stood up in a hurry. "Ohmygosh! Right!"

Noah looked at me. "What photos!?"

"In her locker today. Amelia found photos someone took of her walking home!" I replied.

Noah grabbed his phone. "I'll get some of the other employees to come. Meanwhile, I'll close up the shop."

Spencer spoke up. "We should split up. Sasha and Lauren, you can come with me. And Esme, go with Noah.

Noah disagreed. "No. Esme and I don't know what's going on. Lauren, come with us. Spencer, you and Sasha go check out places around the school."

With one last look at me, Spencer left with Sasha in a hurry.

"Okay, after I close up, we'll go check the path Amelia takes to get home," Noah said.

In only a few minutes, Esme, Noah, and I were running down a street, screaming Amelia's name.

We split up to check out a bigger area. I went closer to home and looked everywhere.

Finally, I heard some voices behind a building. I slowly walked closer and saw two people standing inches from each other. One of them was definitely Amelia. I quickly sent a text to Noah, telling him where I was.

"Amelia!" I shouted. They both looked at me in surprise. The guy started to walk towards me.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

I ignored him. How could I get Amelia out of this situation?

But Amelia was already on it. She spun around with her leg out in front of her. She just barely missed the guy's face when he turned back around.

Amelia smirked and went closer up to him. "Oops, I missed. Next time, I'll make sure I won't. Don't ever show your face in front of me again, you crazy stalker."

"Crazy stalker?" the guy scoffed. "Now I'm offended. Why don't you just date me. I'll make you happy."

"You must be insane," Amelia laughed.

"Amelia, let's go," I said.

Someone from behind me raced towards the stalker and hit him right in the face. Noah.

Amelia hovered herself over the stalker's body and grabbed her phone, which was on the ground. "That must have hurt. Also, I'm not going to date you. I already like someone else. Bye!" She waved in front of the guy's face and dragged both Noah and I away.

"Hey, Lauren. Are you okay?" Noah asked me. I saw Amelia's confident smile falter a bit.

"I'm fine. Amelia, why did you just stay there with him? Are you okay?" I wondered.

Amelia rolled her eyes. "I'm fine. And I can handle myself."

"Ohmygosh! Noah, you completely missed the part where she almost kicked that guy in the face."

"Well, I've seen it several times before," Noah smiled at me.

Suddenly, Esme, Spencer, and Sasha rushed up to us.

"Are you okay?" Esme wanted to know. She hugged Amelia quickly.

"I'm fine. Thanks for coming. I mean it," she beamed.
