"Should we go to the courtyard?" Connor asked me. We had just received an assignment in photography class to take photos around the school.

"Okay," I beamed at him. He pushed open the door to the courtyard and went outside. I gave a little twirl. I loved the outdoors and the fresh air was my favourite part.

"Haha, come on, let's take photos of those flowers." We took out our cameras and started snapping. Somehow, I was so absorbed with taking pictures that I tripped over my own foot and started falling forward. Someone's hand, probably Connor's, grabbed my shirt and pulled me back up. I landed with a thud on Connor's chest. I looked to my right and saw his sapphire blue eyes gazing right at me.

"You okay?" he asked me. I never noticed how dreamy his voice was until then.

I cleared my throat and stood up straight. "I'm good. Thanks."

"Did you know I used to be a model?" hinted Connor, winking at me. Oh, I could have guessed that. With his messy strawberry blonde hair and tall figure, he definitely fitted the 'boy next door' vibe.

I giggled, "Fine. Strike a pose, supermodel." He went beside a bench and grinned. I kept clicking the shutter of the camera while he changed poses. After a while, he stopped and reached out his hand.

"Your turn. See you if you can be better at modeling than me," he said.

I grumbled. I was such a competitive person, I gave him the camera and quickly sat on the bench.

"Okay, smile!"

I did just that and posed for him. I waved, winked, and displayed the 'peace' hand sign. After all the photos, Connor sat next to me on the bench.

"Let's take one together," he suggested. He squeezed in closer to me and we both smiled at the camera.
