As soon as they got in, the door clicked behind them. It was locked. Timothy and Luna crept forward, not daring to make a sound, not daring to run. Suddenly, a trapdoor opened above and snakes fell down. Luna screamed in shock. Something about these snakes didn't look right. Then, it hit her. They were...
"Poisonous", said Timothy, saying exactly what she was thinking, "they're poisonous snakes."
They jumped over each snake carefully, and when Luna stepped on one, it hissed and all snakes turned to her.
"Run!", she squealed.
Both of them forgot carefulness and sprinted to the next door. Luna flung it open, and the two of them rushed inside. The next room was a thin, long corridor, less than a metre wide. Timothy breathed faster and louder behind her and Luna could tell he was shivering.
"Timothy?"
"I need to get out of here!"
Luna grasped his hand. "Shh. Close your eyes." Timothy was still quavering. "Pretend this room is a completely normal room." She led him forward, all the way to the end of the corridor.
She carefully opened the door, and Timothy opened his eyes, looking back. His eyes widened. "I-I just went through there?""Yep."
They walked on, and this room seemed fairly normal. Luna stepped on a white floor tile. Suddenly, the whole room flashed red and sirens wailed.
"Ah.", said Luna, "Let's get out of here."
The room was crumbling together. They dodged large bits of Celine and jumped over gaps. They made it to the door. It swung open as Luna pressed down the handle. She slammed the door behind her. She looked around. This room had long, pieces of rope hanging on the walls, and as she looked closer, she saw they where whips. She suddenly felt all cold and hot at the same time. She wanted to get out of this room. She ran to the door they had came out of, but it was locked. She looked around. On the other side of the room, two doors were next to each other. Luna ran to one, pressing down the handle. But like the other door, it wouldn't open. Timothy got to the third door first. He shook his head.
"Locked."
They were trapped in this room.
Suddenly, someone hammered at the door Timothy had tried to open.
"Hey! Let us out! Right now!"
Luna looked up. She would know that voice anywhere. It was Jasper's.
"We need to open that door!"
The two frantically tried to kick down the door, but they were only children. They weren't strong enough. Inside Jasper hammered and Luna heard Alice's voice, but they couldn't get to them.
"Luna!", said Timothy suddenly, "your hair clip!"
Of course! Luna unfastened the hair clip in her hair and handed it to Timothy. He inserted it into the lock, and soon, it clicked and the door swung open.
"Luna!"
"Timothy!"
Alice and Jasper ran out of the door.
"Luna, we were wrong all the time, it never was Timothy..."
"Timothy, Luna! I'm I glad to see you!"
The four of them smiled. They were together again. And they were going to stop Titus Carpse.
