Chapter 14

Luna was out of the room by 08:00 o'clock. Yawning widely, she rubbed her eyes, she wondered around town. She had no clue where to look. She didn't even really know what she was looking for. Alice and Jasper, she told herself. She wondered if they were trapped in a house, in a castle, maybe they weren't even here. She searched the whole town, asked the villagers, anything she could possibly think of. But the result was nothing. She sighed. She and Jasper should have stayed with Gwen. Then Jasper wouldn't be locked up somewhere and Luna would know where to look. Suddenly, she spotted a pair of brown eyes looking directly at her. It was a boy. As he turned around and fled, Luna saw the boy looked strikingly like Timothy. She chased after him. After a while, the boy threw a glance over his shoulder. It was no mistake: Orange jumper, pale face, messy brown hair, closely cropped eyes. It was Timothy Coole.

"Timothy!", yelled Luna angrily. This boy had kidnapped her best friends. She was going to get them back. Timothy fled, Luna close behind. But Timothy was faster than Luna, and he sped ahead. Then, he was gone. Luna refused to stop running, this was her only chance! Suddenly, Timothy jumped out of a bush in front of her, smiling. "Luna!"

"Timothy you..."

Timothy stopped her. "Shh. I know what you're thinking. It wasn't me that kidnapped everyone."

"But it's T.C.!"

"His name is Titus Carpse"

"...oh."

"Now listen carefully. Titus is the only Rebel left in the world. Rebels are like Soul-transformers, but they keep their animal form forever and can change into it whenever they want. Rebels are counted as highly dangerous. I know where Titus has everyone. That night where Alice was kidnapped, I followed them. Lucky for me, no one saw me. I've been hiding in this town, waiting for you to come. When I saw Titus with Jasper, I knew you had made it. We have to save everyone, Luna!"

And together, they made a plan. It was not long before they stood in front of the house. It was black and big, but it didn't look like loads of people were being held capitative in there. Timothy nodded at Luna. And together, they opened the door and went in.
