Luna had always thought it was impossible to learn the language of an animal. But that was before she knew she was a soul-transformer. Dogish wasn't easy. It made a huge difference if you barked high-pitched or low. If it was a volley of barks of just a short gruff 'woof'. Luckily, Mr. Ridere was a nice man, he was more than happy to help out Luna.
"Try making the bark clearer, Lunette - that's right. Try taking to Sven, see if he understands-"
Mr. Ridere kept a Jack Russell Terrier named Sven in the classroom, to help everyone out. Luna barked nervously at Sven, and Sven cocked his ears and barked back. The teacher nodded. "He understood you fine. Good work." He fondled Sven's head and wondered off. Luna thought she wasn't doing bad for a beginner, until she heard it wasn't just barks she had to learn. Growling and howling- that made everything slightly harder. Luna groaned. She wished she'd been here for a year like Jasper. She couldn't of been happier when the bell rang, and she could escape with Alice and Jasper. "Phew. Latin's over.", Alice groaned, her wolf tail not showing any sign of wagging. Jasper snorted. Luna could sense an argument coming up. She smiled weakly and quickly changed the subject.

"So you're saying Soul-Transformers have been disappearing for the last three months?"
"Yup"
"I've heard none of them have returned"
Luna sat around a desk, with Jasper and Alice. A week had past since Luna's first Latin class, and slowly Alice and Jasper were getting along. Though, sometimes, they'd have a major argument and Jasper had a few nasty bites on his arm.
"And people are still disappearing?"
"That's right"
"Have students from St.Lupa's disappeared?"
No one replied.
A shiver ran down Luna's spine. She already knew the answer, although no one had told her. Jasper looked away pointedly, for once, he didn't say anything. Alice just stood there, speechless. Luna wanted to comfort her friends, but she was too depressed to speak.A/N: Sorry for the long wait and the short chapter!!! Thanks for reading!! Vote? Comment?
