The sun shining through the small gap in my curtains is what wakes me up in the morning. I check my laptop, to see if my video has uploaded. It has. Surprisingly, it already has 600 views. I text Phil, telling him the good news.

While I await Phil’s text, I take a shower and get ready for another boring school day.

I check my phone again and Phil texted back.

‘Cool. I might or might not have told my twitter followers to watch it.’ I laugh.

‘Thanks.’ I reply. I have school in an hour so I tell Phil and start walking to school.

During all my lessons, Phil occupies my mind. Halfway through math class, I get a text from Phil.

‘School’s boring. I want to talk to you.’ I smile and bite my lip. Before checking to make sure Mrs. Johnson’s back is turned, I text back.

‘Yep. I wish I went to your school. It would make school a lot less boring. :)’ It takes me a few seconds to agree to add the smiley face. I quickly turn my phone off as I see Mrs. Johnson turning to face towards the class again.

Throughout all my classes, I catch a few seconds to text Phil. He’s a lot sweeter when you’re talking to him, rather than just watching him ramble to a camera. I just want to see him in person again.
