Jimin Pov:

"Jungkook!"

I turned my head to the voice behind us and-

Wow.

What I see is another disgusting cop running towards us?

"Hyung!!"

Jungkook squealed and threw his trunk towards the man as he wrapped his arms around Jungkook in response.

"What are you doing here? I'm been searching for you since-"

I watched as he stopped talking and raised an eyebrow at Jungkook.

"Are you drunk lil bro?" He asked and Jungkook shook his head from left to right.

"....wait-"

The cop said and leaned near Jungkook's face and sniffed near his mouth.

Jungkook quickly opened his mouth wide in a childish way for him to examine him properly.

"Shut your mouth, you stink!" He replied and Jungkook chuckled in response.

"But you don't reek of alcohol.....I wonder what's-"

"He did drink some beer tho,"

I cut him off and he paused. And this time his eyes darted to me.

I looked back at him and thank God he finally opened his mouth to speak up or I almost thought we were having a staring contest for fucks sake.

"And you are?"

"Hello, my name is Jimin," I bowed down.

"I'm Kim Seokjin, his elder brother. Nice to meet you," he replied and bowed back.

Kim Seokjin? why does it sounds familiar?

"Are you a friend of his? But I've never seen you before with him....."

"Umm....." I wandered my eyes around, thinking about how to introduce myself to him.

"You can call us friends, but actually we just met a week ago, so that might be the reason, why you've never seen me before," I added.

"I see....." He mumbled under his breath.

I could feel him give me suspicious looks.

"Oh.....and I see you're a cop too. Are everyone in your family from the same field?" I asked and he darted his eyes at me.

I was confused by the look he gave me.

What's a wrong officer? What the heck are you thinking?

"By any chance, have we met before?"

He asked me and it snapped me.

Yes. Now, I recognise you. Kim Seok Jin huh?

How can I forget him? He was the son of the Chief of the police department. The chief who died in my pretty hands some years ago. He was the only cop I ever got involved in and also happens to be my worst decision ever. And the chief's kid, Kim Seok Jin was the one who saw me committing the crime and was only the witness I had.
