~seven years since Jimin's release~
*knock knock*The door sprung open and Minseo gleamed up. "Jimin!" She gave him a hug before he walked inside. "What'd you bring me?" She said peeing into the bag in Jimin's grip. "Is that what I'm thinking it is?" She cornered her eyes with a mischievous smile.
"Yes...macaroons from your favourite plac-"
"Ohh my Godd!! Thankyou so much. I love you! You're the best Jimin!!" She snatched the bag from Jimin's had, pecked his cheeks and ran upstairs. Jimin shook his head and let out a chuckle.
"Why do you bring her sweets all the time?" The old lady muttered as she walked out of the kitchen. "She's gonna get cavities this way," she said with a disappointed face as she crossed her arms across her chest.
"You know I can't help it but see her smile, granny." Jimin smiled before putting his bag down.
"Oh my, she's fifteen now. You gotta stop treating her like a kid," Granny shook her head with a small chuckle. " Anyways, how was work?" she asked heading upto the drawer in the living room.
"Fine, I guess. A little tiring. By the way, Hobi called us for dinner tonight. Did he say anything to you?" Jimin asked, turning his head to look at her.
"Yes, yes. He called me earlier," She mumbled as she pulled the drawer and stared searching for something.
"These guys. They've been married for two years now and still they haven't given us a party. What a nice way of replacing the party with a home dinner..." Jimin chuckled as he shook his head.
"Don't say like that." Jungkook's granny laughed. "Hey Jimin.." she placed her hand on his shoulder making him glance at her. "The department sent this today. I think it belongs to you-"
Jimin's gaze fell on her hands, clutching onto a wrinkled worn out paper. She handed it to Jimin with a smile. "What's this?" he raised a brow, unfolding the paper carefully so that it would tear up, because it's condition looked worst.
"Jungkook." His granny replied and walked away to her room.
Jimin watched her with confused stares, the word she said made his heart flutter a bit. The name 'Jungkook' still makes him feel things. He just shook his head and started reading the letter.
'Dear Jiminie~
Hey...uhh...don't mind my errors because this is my sixth attempt of writing this letter and now I think I should've paid attention in school.
Jimin laughed and continued reading it.
Anyways, I don't think the feelings that I've been wanting to say to you can't be completed in just a few words. But still, I'm not brave enough to tell you this directly. So please read this with a smile and some patience, yeah?
You know Minnie, I thought my life was just going to work, returning back and the repeat of the cycle. Life was boring, and so was I. I think I'd lost that spark of my life after my Appa left me. My relation with Jin hyung wasn't good either and I felt a kind of vacant space within myself.
But then you came, right in front of my car, right into my heart just like that. The day I saw, curled up on the road and the way you raised your head, met your beautiful gaze with mine. I felt the vacant space in my life would be filled soon.
As day passed by, I realised you're not just some pretty boy but a pretty face with hidden pain. A very bad and painful past covered up by happy smiling faces. And to be honest, taking you to the hospital and picking you up again was just an excuse. An excuse to watch your face, your smile, the way you tucked you hair behind your ear and the way you bit onto your lips and licked it after. Gosh, I just don't remember the time I didn't stare at you without you knowing about it.
