chapter 7

Jimin Pov:

The next day, I got up early. I couldn't sleep the whole night.

This guilt of not deleting him as per my schedule is killing me now. I have never felt this way for my prey previously and I have never delayed my commitment this long for any human being up to now.

He is different. I don't know why but the way he acts and behaves seems so fake. I just wanted to know more about him and watch him for the time being.

Besides, this warmth that he gives me all the time is way confusing. Feels like I've already felt him in the past. His presence is so familiar that it's getting me crazy now. And even after being the most daring serial killer who can rip off people's heads from their trunks and not even flinch, I must say I get creeped out by the vibes he gives me when he gets close to me.

But now, I'm getting impatient. I'm dying to get him down on his knees and make him beg me for his life.

In short, I'm gonna kill him.

Jungkook Pov:

I was working as usual in the station. Suddenly, I heard Hobi whining. He usually does this when he wants something.

I smiled and turned my head to him.

"What is it now?"
I asked and he hung him to me with a sloppy face and tired eyes.

"It's so hot. I think I'm dying..."

He said and ran his fingers through his red strands.

I laughed before getting on my feet.

"Cola or sprite?"

I asked he raised his eyebrow, which probably meant 'you know what I want bro'.

"Obviously....yes how can I forget your favourite, "

I said and he nodded giving me a thumbs up.

"Jungkook, can you get a cola for me too?

A voice called out making me turn around.

She was smiling at me for unknown reasons. She always does this.

Maria works as an assistant here at the station. She also takes responsibility for receiving phone calls, taking care of files and all the other stuff related to the cases.

I nodded with an unwilling smile and turned back to Hobi, only to find him scoffing at my reaction.

"Hobi? What the fuck are you grinning at?"

I groaned in an annoyed tone.

"Just surprised by how much she likes you. She doesn't even let go a single shot to talk to you kiddo,"

"Again Hobi? Didn't I warn you not to tease me again? It just makes her happier and she might end up thinking that I'm into her,"

"If you're not into her, just tell her Jungkook. Talking to her that with that soft and adorable expression will only put her into fake expectations, which isn't better for either of you-"
