Jungkook Pov:

"The serial killer....the one from six years ago-"

"I'm afraid I don't know who you're referring to Officer Jeon, now if you excuse me I need to get back to work,"
He cut the boy off and started typing again.

No.

He needs to speak up today. Now or never.

Jungkook thought before he grabbed the older's wrist and pulled his forearm making the him sigh in response.

"Please hyung, please tell me. I know that you know about it. It's him, isn't it?"

"No I don't-"

"The one who killed Ap-......I-I mean the chief. The one who murdered the chief of the police department six years ago and left everyone in terror,"

Jin went silent.

He knew who his brother was referring to. Whether he was too oblivious for not believing it or he was just pretending to not recognise.

"Hyung-"

"Fucking stop it, Jungkook! What if it's him? What the fuck are you gonna do?!"

He shouted making the boy flinch back. He quickly realised his fault as he exhaled a tired breath and stared at his hands.

"I knew it. I knew it's him. I-I'm gonna catch hi-"

"No you won't! You aren't supposed to interfere with the departments policies! In fact, you are not getting involved in this shit at all. I won't allow you to handle this case-"

Jungkook frowned at his brother's blunt phrases.

"Why Hyung?! Why do you always keep me away from it? You know how desperate I am to get that killer-"

"So was I, Jungkook!"
Jin shouted.

Jungkook gulped and watched his brother slowly tend to soften up as sighed a heavy breath and faced away.

"So was I........I-I was so desperate to catch him after Appa's death but what happened? Nothing? He escaped like a blowing wind. He tricked all of us and vanished. And now here he is again, kidnapping and killing innocents at dark and again living like a normal citizen in the daylight, like......like he didn't stab a guy to death the previous night,"

Jungkook narrowed his eyes at the floor feeling a pain in his chest. The pain that built up everytime he tried to thought of that killer, the killer who once ruined his life right in front of his eyes.

Jin turned Jungkook around and cupped his face making the boy look up at him.

"I know you're mad Jungkook. I know the bitterness you have in your heart for that killer, and I do too. I want to get him and make him pay for his crimes too,"

"No you don't!"

The boy splated rudely as he pulled over his face from Jin's hands.

"You don't know what I feel hyung. Because you weren't there with me that night. You don't know how terrified I am because you haven't seen what I have!! Y-you have no fucking idea what I've been through because you haven't lost what I have!!"
