Chapter 15- Connect the dots

[Time skip: one days after that incident]

Jungkook working on his laptop while I was preparing for tomorrow's hearing. Meanwhile, Taehyung was stressed. He was walking back and forth unable to reach someone. It was none other than Jimin. Yes, after that night he didn't return. Neither did he contact Taehyung nor any of us. We were worried to death. I stood up and walked to Taehyung and rubbed his back

"Taehyung, Jimin is okay. He must've gotten himself into some important stuffs related to the case, he told us that night right?" I assured

"You don't understand, Jimin never does like this. He at least-" we were interrupted by someone knocking on the door. The door opened revealing Jimin with a bag in his hand

"Jimin, what the fuck! Where were you!" Taehyung yelled

"I'm sorry, I had to go out of station to get these. These are a few information related to the case" he said handing over the files over to me

"See, I told you. He's safe" I told Taehyung and he nodded. I was about to go in when Taehyung said,

"Jimin, did you grow tall?" and that's when I noticed Jimin grew taller which was unusual

"Yeah, were you in a gym or what?" I asked jokingly

"Yes, something like that" he replied a bit awkwardly. Something was off. Usually, Jimin would be cheerful and talking with me about everything but today something was definitely off. I shrugged off all the thoughts and started going to through the files while Jimin excused himself and took Taehyung along with him to somewhere. 

Taehyung's POV:

I was happy that Jimin was safe but something was definitely off. Can someone grow tall in just a day? Can someone's voice change in just a day? Shrugging off all the thoughts, I followed Jimin outside since he had something to say. But the next thing he said, shocked me

 "What do you mean by Ms. Y/n is behind all this?!" 

"Taehyung you have to trust me! I've seen her meeting Chairman Ji-hun secretly and also taking money"

"I can't-t believe-e you. She won't-t do this! Or else why is she helping us!?"

"To gain our trust! so that we don't doubt her and when time will come where she will betray us"

"No, she-e won't-t"

"I found out she's not even Jungkook's real sister!"

"What!?"

"You don't believe me? Ask her if she remembers anything from her childhood or not"

She won't do it right? She's not behind all this, is she? No, she won't. In the midst of all this, my eyes went on Jimin's wrist and I noticed something strange

"Jimin, where's your '13' tattoo on your wrist?" I asked and the expression on his face. It turned into a rather worried one

"I removed it"

"What? Why would you do that?"

"It was getting itchy and I was also having skin problems, excuse me, I have to answer this call" Jimin said excusing himself. At this  point, something is definitely wrong

Busy going through the files, I was interrupted when I felt a tap on my shoulder. Turning around, I found Taehyung with no expression. I passed him a smile but he did not react.

"Ms. Y/n, can I talk to you for a second? I mean in private?" he asked and I nodded. We went to our room and he locked the door. I sat on the bed while Taehyung stood in front of me
