Chapter 20- Sincerely yours

[2 years later, Italy]

2 years ago, after the Han Group case, Lawyer Jeon Y/n is the highest demanding lawyer in South Korea. She has reached peeks by winning more than 20+ cases in a year. Today is the inauguration of her new law firm, 'Jeon Law Firm'. We wish her all the best for her future...

"That's like my girl..."

[Time skip: South Korea, Jeon Law Firm]

"Ms. Y/n, would you like some coffee?" My assistant Lim Mi-young asked me

"Mi-young, I stopped drinking coffee two years back, get me some water instead"

"Oh right! I forgot, I'm sorry" She apologized 

"It's okay, just get me some water" I said and she cheerfully left

Taking a glance outside, it was reporters everywhere. I'm so done with them! One question they have in common, ma'am how did you achieve this? Like how the fuck am I supposed to explain that? I got enough evidence and won the case what else? My thoughts were interrupted when Jungkook came. Yes, he complete his study last year and is a lawyer now

"It's Christmas today, why don't you go and take a walk?" He asked

"Nah, I have work to finish"

"Stop pushing yourself in to more work in order to run away from your feelings! You still miss him no matter how tough you act from outside!" he was right. Working day and night made me run away from my own feelings but what else can I do? There's absolutely nothing I can do

"There's nothing else I can do but run away " I replied while Jungkook stayed silent. He knew I was right in a way but I was wrong too which he failed to prove

"I'm going out for some fresh air, I'll be back by night" Grabbing my coat and car keys I left. Exiting from the back door in order to escape the reporters, I drove away to somewhere far

[Time skip: 10pm, Jeon Law Firm]

Parking my car, I spotted an familiar car. Shrugging off my thoughts, I was about to step inside the building when my eyes went  on my cabin where the lights were still on. Didn't Jungkook went home or he forgot to switch of the lights?

As I walked towards my cabin, I could hear noises more like two people talking. Opening the door, my eyes met an unexpected person

"Jimin....?"

"Long time no see, Ms. Y/n" he said getting up from his seat with a smile

"He came an hour ago and you were not here so he stayed" Jungkook spoke

"How are you and what are you doing here?" I asked 

"I'm fine and I came here to take care of some business related works" Jimin replied as we hugged each other

"He's also here" Jimin whispered

"What?"

"You know what I mean Y/n. C'mon, I want you to go somewhere"

"I-I don't want-t to"

"Is your heart saying that or your mind?" Jimin asked to which I had no answer. He smiled and dragged me towards his car followed by Jungkook

[Time skip: Seoul Park]

Jimin parked the car as we stepped out. The park was beautifully decorated on the occasion of Christmas with lights and props everywhere. It was beautiful

Our eyes went on the beautiful Christmas tree which stood there, tallest one I've seen so far. It was practically shining with lights and other decorations

But out of all this, my eyes caught a familiar looking figure standing in front of the tall Christmas tree. Dressed in a black overcoat with black jeans, that person stood there, his back facing us

"What are you waiting for? " Jimin asked

"Huh? "

"Go, he's waiting" saying which Jimin pushed. It felt like high school were your friends force you to go talk to your crush but I don't love him, do I? He didn't even contact me for 2 years and when he left he didn't even spare a glance at me. Why will I care for him?

As my footsteps slowed, my heart starting beating faster. My mind continuously telling to go back while my hearts begging me to meet him. I had mixed feelings. Unable to process what to do, I kept walking until I was standing behind his tall figure. Feeling someone's presence he turned around as his hazel eyes met mine

He looked heavenly in the lights behind him. His lips formed a curve when he saw him. My heart was beating faster than any time. I played with my fingers not knowing what to do until he spoke,

"Ms. Y/n, congratulations on your success" that's it? In 2 years, this is the only thing he had to say for which he came all the way to Korea?

"Thank-k you" 

"Are you.... single?" He asked

"No, I'm married and I have 5 kids" I spoke in sarcastic manner which made him chuckle

"Too bad, then you'll have to divorce your husband then"

"What do you mean?" I asked trying to sound strong

"I missed you a lot" He said slowly

"Missed me? You missed me so much that you didn't even bother to call me or even type a message?" I asked as he chuckled

"Didn't you miss me?"

"No, not at all! Not even a chance!"

"Ms. Y/n, stop trying to act hard" he spoke taking a step towards me while I folded my arms and looked somewhere else

"Why are you here?" I finally asked

"To take care of some things related to my company"

"That means you'll leave again like you did 2 years back right? What help do you need from me this time? I'll help you and you'll leave without saying goodbye instead just a thank you like you did 2 years-" my sentence was incomplete when he pulled me by my waist and kissed me passionately. I tried to push him away because I was still angry but he was stronger than me. At the end, I gave up and kissed him back. 

The atmosphere around changed into a warm one rather than a cold one. The Christmas in the background gave a different feeling. He pulled away as he starred into my eyes

"You have no idea how much I missed you everyday" I whispered 

"Y/n I didn't want to leave you. But you were becoming my weakness which is not good for a mafia like me also if you're with me, you'll always have a risk of your life and I couldn't stay without despite knowing the consequences" He said resting his forehead on mine

"But you'll leave after finishing your work here right?" I asked

"I don't know, but at least, I'll not leave this time" he said making me smile

"But I can't stay with you" I spoke making him look at me in confusion

"What? Why?"

"You didn't say 'I love you' to me nor propose me" I said as he chuckled

"So, Lawyer Jeon Y/n, would you like to be the wife of this mafia?" He asked making me let out a chuckle

"I'm sincerely yours" I replied as he gave a peck on my lips

"Y/n, I promise, I'll give my both, love and blood...."
