-나는 그들의 것, 그들의 내 꺼야-

-sooyoung's pov-

areum has been going through a tough time since seulgi basically broke her with a few strange glances and fake smiles

when she went to school, she tried to avoid her as much as she could. only a few times she would get caught by her and force to speak to her. she would try her best to seem fine and she even smiled at her

but when she gets home, she's almost in tears

seulgi still tried to act like her friend, the same fake smiles and laughs as before, but now areum could see through them

it's gotten better now, after a few weeks

she doesn't cry, she just goes up to her room and she finishes her homework, like nothing happened that day

i was getting worried abut her well-being again

this side of her reminds me of when she was extremely depressed after we were in paris for a while

she wasn't in the best place

hell! she was in the worst place she could be!

i want to help her out of it

out of that dark hole

so i decided to take her out

during mingyu's birthday celebration sana announced to us that her and tzuyu are getting married in the next few weeks

they invited us but we weren't sure that we were going to make it so we told them to write down a guest and a plus one on their guest list

those girls- those women, (a/n i'm a big feminist, so all of seventeen are feminists) have always been good friends of ours. we met them in the 1850s (a/n i chose that time because i really like the fashion of the time and just imagine twice dressed in the dresses of the time🤤) they were always kind to us and we had a two way friendship

"areum?" i called out in her dark room

it was the afternoon and it's been a while since we arrived from school

today was a rough day for her, so i knew she wasn't going to be in the best place

i hear her shuffling under her comforter and she sat up and looked at me with a groggy look on her face

"what is it?" she muttered

she always had the most adorable face when she wakes up, i chuckled lightly

i walked closer to her and i sat down beside her

"how are you feeling?" i voice was low and i looked at her with concern and kindness, trying to seem gentle. i brought my hand up to her cheek and softly caressed it

"oh. i'm alright" she said, she brought her hand up to mine and she softly held it. "i'm just a little tired" she leaned into my caress

"are you too tired to go to a wedding?" i smirked a little

at my words her eyebrows furrowed and she looked at me with a concerned expression

"it's not our wedding, don't worry" i chuckled a bit

you're too young to be married anyways

she let out a small sigh of relief and she giggled lightly

that sound is wonderful. her laugh is addictive to listen to

"i was gonna say, i think we skipped a few steps" she laughed at her own sarcasm and so did i
