-나는 그들의 것, 그들의 내 꺼야-

"a date?"

i honestly wasn't expecting him to ask me out. the only other date i've been on is with wonwoo, and it was so long ago. it also didn't have the most fantastic ending of all time, that was when he told me we were leaving paris and that kai was after me. not great.

i looked up at him, he had the most hopeful look on his face that i would say yes.

"i would love to go," i held onto his hand, squeezing for a moment.

"how about this weekend," his lips cracked into a smile, so much so that he placed his hand over his mouth to hide how happy he was, "sorry," he chuckled.

"i'm acting like a teenager," he looked away.

i was amused at his excitement, so i stood in front of him and forced him to look at me, taking his hand away from his face. "it's cute," i let out a chuckle when i realized the blush on his cheeks.

"how about we watch a movie or something," he finally managed to look at me.

"that would be great."

🌷

all of us gathered around the dining table, flocking towards the delicious food prepared by mingyu and joshua.

"this looks great," seungkwan was the first to sit down. "you've outdone yourselves this time," jun mentioned from the other side of the table, preparing himself to dig in.

as i looked at all the food on the table, my mouth started salivating at just the mere thought of eating. the table was decorated with many dishes, containing: kimchi, rice, various types of banchan, jjigae, and soup.

mingyu and joshua decked everything out. i'm sure there isn't anything left in the fridge.

"this looks amazing," i sat beside joshua and jeonghan.

"you guys have such a talent for making good food," i started digging into the food with little hesitation.

🌷

i sat by the pool with my feet in the water, enjoying its coldness against the heat of the sun.

ever since i found out i was the reincarnation of the goddess of moonlight, i've finally figured out why the night has always enchanted me. i've sometimes been afraid of it, but at times, when everything is still for a moment, it looks beautiful.

sometimes that stillness can be everything, that one moment, where the world doesn't seem like it's turning upside down, it's perfect.

"i learned how to swim in this pool," i turned to myungho. he had just joined me, sitting at the pool. our hands were just out of reach from each other, barely grazing.

"i learned how to walk and talk in this house," the smile on my face showed everything i was feeling; how happy i was to be back here.

"i know," he smiled back, his fingers inching closer to mine.

"let's go to the cafe by the school," "for our date?"

i chuckled for a moment, he wasn't expecting me to bring it up. "i liked that place, so i want to go."
