"Eda!" exclaimed Luz as she ran up to hug the witch. Owlbert flew off of the staff and to Eda. "I think Owlbert needs to tell you something," said Amity. Owlbert's eyes glowed yellow and so did Eda's. A small frown appeared on Eda's face. "It's okay buddy," she said, "Go to her." Owlbert hooted joyfully and flew back to Amity. Rose then waddled up to Lilith. "This one must be yours," she said, picking up the snowy owl and handing it to Luz. "Yeah," she replied, "Her name is Rose. It's because of her Rose quartz color." King looked at Luz. "Come here bud!" King ran into Luz's arms. Amity smiled softly. They saw the cardinal. "Who's is this?" asked Eda. "He belongs to Hunter," said Luz. "Who?" asked King. "Hunter," replied Amity, "More commonly known as the Golden Guard." "What the hell!?" exclaimed Lilith. "Relax!" said Luz, "He's on our side." "How do you know that!?" shouted Eda. "Because he's captured with Willow and Gus!" said Amity, "And he told us exactly what the day of unity is." "Well what is it?" asked Lilith. "It's when Belos takes power over all realms," said Luz, "Unifying them, or combining them all together." "He needs all the wild witches dead so no one can stop him," said Amity, "Meaning he needs to kill us all." "That's not gonna happen," said Lilith, "He's only going to keep your friends alive to lure you two to him." "Then we need to sneak up on him," said Amity, "Make sure he doesn't see us, free the others, and then defeat him." "It's not that simple!" said Eda, "If it was, I would've done it years ago! He knows everything." "But that was on the Boiling Isles, where he had the Titan to tell him everything," said Luz, "Now he doesn't have the Titan." "True," said King, "So that means that we might have a chance." "He was pretty powerful though," said Amity, "Two mysterious witches helped us and he still won. We barely escaped." "Not gonna question the two mysterious witches part," said Eda, "But we have to go now." King got on Luz's shoulder. Amity and Luz gripped their staves. Eda held Hunter's staff. Lilith held her staff tight. The five then made their way to the emperor. They found him in the same place they left him. They hid on the balcony. "I know you're there," he said, "I don't need the Titan to tell me that." He then shot a blast of red energy up at the witches. "Go find the others!" exclaimed Eda, "Lily and I got him!" Luz nodded and dragged Amity with her. Luz could hear police sirens outside the mall. "Where would they be?" asked King. "There's only one place to trap them," said Luz. A few minutes later, the three found themselves looking down at a little ball pit with three bound witches sitting inside of it. "The kids' area," said Luz, "Where joy goes to die." Amity looked around, taking note of the dangers. There was a broken slide, the ball pit looked to be about nine feet deep. The only reason their friends weren't drowning in it was because they were tied to the sides of it. The walls around the kid's area were about six feet tall and had barbed wire on top of it, no doubt placed there by the coven guards. "Let's go," said Luz. They then dropped down into the kid's area, with all the guards in the outside. "Gus looked like he was about to scream in joy, but Amity covered his mouth. "Shh!" she whispered. Luz, Amity, and King then untied all three witches. King and Hunter grabbed onto Owlbert with Amity while Gus and Willow grabbed onto Rose with Luz. The staffs flew upward and took the witches and demon with them. "Hey!" shouted a guard. They started sending blasts of magic at them. The staves flew up and landed on the balcony above. "Come on!" exclaimed Luz. The six of them ran through the mall and back to Belos. Meanwhile, Eda and Lilith were battling Belos... and severely losing. Belos was about to finish off the Clawthorne sisters, but Amity blasted him from behind. Eda threw Hunter his staff. He grabbed it and jammed it into Belos' back. He roared in pain and threw Hunter off of him. Eda summoned Hunter's old staff and blasted Belos with it. "Wow," said Eda, "This artificial magic is powerful." "Be careful, Owl Lady," advised Hunter, "Being artificial, it runs out." "Gotcha," she said as she blasted Belos again. The the seven witches kept blasting Belos with all they had. Gus didn't have much, with him being an illusion witch, but he helped where he could. Belos had finally had enough. He sent out a power blast and sent the witches flying back. Not Amity though. Amity slammed the butt of her staff on the floor, causing her to only slide back slightly. Belos blasted Amity again, but for some reason, it didn't work. It seemed to dissolve around her. But Amity did seem in pain. "She absorbed his magic!" exclaimed Lilith. "Woah," said Luz in awe as she stared at the girl she loved. Belos blasted her again, causing her to absorb the magic again. He kept the blast up and Amity absorbed all of it. Belos finally stopped. He looked at Amity. She had red lighting surrounding her. Her eyes were glowing red. She then sent all the magic she absorbed back at Belos. Belos flew back through the wall and into the parking lot. Amity then jumped out after him, Amity stood over Belos. His mask had fallen. His face was that of a monster. He had razor sharp teeth, shaggy grayish black hair, and glowing red eyes. He smirked at Amity and pointed upward. Amity looked up. She saw a giant portal in the sky. "There's no stopping it," said Belos, "The day of unity has arrived."
