As the four witches landed outside Luz's house, Gus got rid of the illusion spell and walked inside with the others. As Luz was walking in, she could've sworn she saw the face of the Golden Guard, but when she looked back it was gone. She dismissed the thought and walked inside. Camila was quick to attend to the bruises on Luz and Gus's faces. "What happened Cariño?" asked Camila as she gave Gus an ice pack. "We ran into my old bullies," replied Luz, "Willow was unharmed, but Jen tried to make a move on Amity." Amity hung her head in embarrassment, having flashbacks to when the bully had her pinned to the wall. Deep down, Amity couldn't help but wish that Luz had been the one who did that to her. Maybe she would've enjoyed it more if it was. Amity sat by the window while Luz tried to convince Camila that it was really no big deal. As Amity stared up at the bright blue sky, she managed to make out one shape in the clouds. "That's weird..." said Amity, "That kinda looks like.. no." Luz and her mother were still arguing while Gus and Willow watched intently. "L-Luz..." said Amity. Luz didn't hear the green haired witch, so she spoke up. "Luz!" exclaimed Amity. "What is it Ami?" asked Luz. Amity pointed at the clouds. Luz then saw what Amity was talking about. "He's here!?" exclaimed Luz. Gus and Willow looked out too and saw him. Luz grabbed her beanie off of Willow's head and put it on. Luz then stepped outside of her house, just as the Golden Guard landed in front of the steps. "Hey there Noceda," he said, "The emperor sent me to make sure you end up dead. Like he said before, in order for the day of unity to commence, all wild witches must be dealt with, which includes you and your friends." "The day of unity is nothing but a scam," said Luz, "Belos is using you and all the other members of the Emperor's Coven. He wants the wild witches dead so there's no way he can be overthrown." "How wrong are you?" said Golden Guard, "It is so much more than that." "Tell me one detail," demanded Luz. "Uhm..." started Golden Guard, "Okay I don't know anything about it!" "See," said Luz, "For all you know it could just be Belos unifying all the covens into one." "What are you getting at Noceda?" asked Golden Guard. "I'm not getting at anything," Luz replied, "I'm presenting you with an opportunity." "What kind of opportunity?" asked Golden Guard. "The opportunity to change," said the human, "To fight for what's right. To join me." The Golden Guard looked at the human girl. He slowly took off his mask to reveal his pale face. He had dark magenta eyes and blonde-ish white hair. He had bags under his eyes and a big scar on his right cheek. "I cannot betray the emperor," he said, "Do you have any idea what he'll do to me?" "I know exactly what he'll do t you," said Luz. "He's trying to do the same thing to us," said Amity from behind the human. "What do you say?" asked Luz, "Are you in? Or are you out?" Golden Guard thought for a moment. He then looked at the human. "I'm in," he said. "Great decision," said Luz, "Because as we were talking, Gus and Willow were surrounding you." The two popped up from the bushes they were hiding in. "So," said Luz, "Golden Guard, what is Belos' plan?" "First off," said Golden Guard, "Call me by my real name, Hunter. And second off, I'll explain everything inside." "Right this way," said Luz, turning around. As the human turned, however, she found herself nose to nose with a certain green haired abomination witch. Amity blushed furiously and so did Luz. Amity then turned on her heel and went inside. Luz then led the former coven head into the house, followed by Gus and Willow.
