Amity woke up. She turned to her side and faced her still sleeping wife. She smiled softly at the human, who in her opinion, was beautiful in her sleep. Amity then heard an all too familiar sound. Luz woke up to it. "The monsters are up already?" asked Luz groggily. "Hey," said Amity, "You're the one that wanted them." The door to their bedroom then swung open, letting two four year old girls run into the room. Both had a mix of dark brown and auburn hair. One had pale skin, like Amity, and the other had darker skin, like Luz. "Mama, Mami!" they shouted, jumping on their mothers' bed. "Get up!" exclaimed the darker skinned twin, "You promised we'd get to go visit Abuela Eda today!" "Of course Azura," Luz said to her excited four year old daughter, "How could I forget?" Luz picked up her daughter. "If we wanna go, we gotta get ready, so come on," she said. Azura giggled at her mami. The other one looked up at Amity with pleading eyes. "Okay Thyme," she said, getting up and picking up the second Noceda twin. Thyme giggled as Amity tickled her. When Luz and Amity had carried the twins to their room, they set them down. "You two are getting to big for us to carry you," said Luz. "I know," said Azura as she looked through her drawer for a cute little outfit, "So I'm enjoying it while I can." Thyme sighed like she was a tired mother (like Luz and Amity). "You don't have to do that," she said, "They'll always carry us for as long as they can. They'll miss it when we get too big." She then started looking for her own clothes. Luz chuckled a little. "She isn't wrong," she said to her wife. Amity sighed. "I'm gonna go get some bitter bean blood," she said. "Coffee," corrected Luz. "Same difference," shouted Amity from down the hall. After everyone in the household got ready, Luz pulled a small skeleton key out of her pocket. She then pressed the eyeball button on it and the door to the Boiling Isles appeared and unfolded before them. Ms and Mrs. Noceda held their daughters' hands as they walked through the door. "Well I'll be damned!" shouted Eda as she saw the four, "I swear these two grow every time I see them!" The twins ran and gave Eda a hug. "What did we say about cussing in front of them?" asked Amity. "They came home last time and Azura said the word, 'shit' for about a week," added Luz. Eda snorted and leaned down to Azura. "I told you not to repeat that," she whispered. "Shit!" whispered Azura, folding her hands behind her back and swaying her hips. Eda sighed and stood back up. "At least you're the good one," she said to Thyme, ruffling her hair. Thyme smiled, revealing a gap in her teeth. "Ya finally lost that tooth huh?" asked Eda. "Yep!" said the four year old excitedly. "How much you get for it?" asked Eda. "Three bucks!" exclaimed Thyme. "Okay, now go find King," said Eda, "I have to talk to your moms real quick." The twins ran off into the living room. King could be heard squealing as the twins laughed. Eda chuckled and walked up to the tired parents. "Are you sure you can take them alone?" asked Luz, "Amity told me they were a handful last time." "Yeah, I'll be fine," said Eda, "I love those kids. Now go. Go take a break. You haven't had a nice night out since your bloodymoon." "On earth it's called a honeymoon," said Amity. "Same concept," said Eda, "Now go! Live your lives!" Luz smiled and hugged Eda. "Thank you so much," she said. "Any time, kid," said Eda. Luz smiled back at Eda before taking her wife's hand and walking through the portal. Eda then walked into the living room, to see Willow and Gus playing with the twins. "Hooty let us in," said Gus. Hooty then opened the door again. Edric and Emira walked in. "Uncle Ed and Aunt Em!" shouted the twins as they ran to their aunt and uncle. "That's Funcle Ed to you," said Edric as he picked up Azura. Em laughed as she grabbed Thyme. "You know I'm more fun than you," she said, bumping her brother with her hip. Gus and Willow stood up and smiled at them. Lilith walked in and put her hand on Eda's shoulder. "And to think," she said, "All of this started with a human finding her way here eight years ago." "Yep," Eda said, "It's hard to believe how much this family has grown." Back in the Noceda household, Luz and Amity could be seen sipping on glasses of wine and sitting in a hot tub. Amity sighed. "We did good Luz," she said. "We sure did, Mittens," laughed Luz. Amity bonked her on the head lightly and then joined her in laughing. The two had a happy life now. They had two beautiful daughters, a nice family, and a pretty decent home. Not to mention that Luz gets paid a lot at her job. And it all happened, because of an accidental trip to the..
