Before the chapter officially begins, I'd like to say that I'm going to start publishing 2-3 chapters per day. I want to get it all out before my classes begin. Don't mind the semi-spam updates, lmao

"Can I ask you a question?" Punz asked. It had been a few days, the other guards hadn't been willing to change cells, so it was just you and him making eye contact for hours on end. It was normal for you, a little unsettling for him.

"Depends on the question." You responded, you hadn't really talked since you held eye contact after he finished a great speech on Falconiers.

"Why didn't you run out the window when you tried to escape this time? It was strange." Punz said, leaning against the wall.

"Oh, the way I view the empire of Ensidione was from a balcony. It always looked at peace, very similar to what I saw from the window. It reminded me of how similar our empires are and that no one is going to win until someone changes something and it finally overthrows the other. Then it will all end. War and peace alike. It's the reason why I'm not an assassin, what I do keeps me away from the war, and strengthens the relationships of other civilizations. Like the Pigmen, for example. I'm sure if I did turn into an assassin, the tables would turn instantly." You said, it nearly felt like a speech, but you didn't mind.

"Was not expecting that, but I still see why you like it. The war I can see as well, sure it gives me something to do, but it's getting a little old. I still think your job is weird." Punz said. Now sitting down across the door.

"I think you would enjoy my job, there's always something new every time." You reply, smiling. You knew that one time it was a trip to a fortress to get skulls for withers. While another it was simply strengthening a relationship with a different empire.

"Why? It seems guarding you is enough as is. Since you make it fun and annoying." Punz replied, smiling back.

You shrug your shoulders. It wasn't that hard anyways. You could always escape if you wanted to, but something about Punz made you stay.

"I'm surprised you haven't executed me yet at this rate," you said, sighing contently as you think back to what you've all done since you became what you are now amongst the ranks.

Punz scoffed, seeming as if he didn't want you executed just yet.

"They're going to interrogate you sometime. If you keep escaping, they won't since the setup will be very easy. So you'll probably just stay here until you give up escaping." He said while shrugging his shoulders. If you knew anything, it's that you weren't giving up anytime soon on any escape plans.

"Well, I do want that one-v-one..." You say, grinning out at him. "However, we both know that I don't want to be here."

"Well who does?" Punz said, and he had a fair point.

"I like it here! I get to talk with people who don't judge me!" Sapnap yelled down the hall.

"Sapnap, have you met Punz?" You yell back, obviously frustrating the blonde and making the ravenet laugh.

"Met him? I have been with him for years." Sapnap said, coming down into view.

"Go away please, you have your own prisoner to guard." Punz said, pushing Sapnap back down the hall.

"Wait, I have a neighbor? Hi neighbor!" You screamed through the bars.

"There's no one there. I simply sit there since Dream won't let me do anything else." Sapnap groaned.

"Why are you listening to Dream, anyways?" You ask, leaning against the door to get a better look at both of them.

"Because I have nothing better to do with Prince George being annoying!" He yelled back.

"Why's that Sapnap?" Punz asked, stepping closer to him.

"No reason." He instantly replied. You could tell he was nervous.

"Sure, Sapnap. Sure." Punz said, arms crossed.

You took the opportunity. Easily jumping out of the bars. You quietly walk over towards the window. You blocked out Punz and Sapnap to focus. You made it out the window and jumped down. All the villagers look at you in a strange manner.

"Oh come on! Not again!" Punz screamed from the prison window.

You finally found a weapon smith stand and took an enchanted diamond axe. You heard the village bell start to ring.
