You waited until you heard Matthew snoring, and Punz leaving for his sleep. You opened your eyes to see the prison nearly in pitch black, except the window of course. Your way out.
You slipped through the bars with ease. You looked towards the window, then at Matthew and Marlow.
"Psst, Marlow?" You whisper, seeing him wake up.
"Y/N? What are you doing awake?" He replied once he opened his eyes.
"I'm escaping. I'm going to the Ensidionian castle. If you want to find me, find me there. I really want to keep you guys as friends, maybe then you can tell me what an angel of death is since I don't. Ask for Y/N L/N as a friend, then they might let you in." You said, trying not to wake Matthew up.
"Oh, well, good luck, hopefully I will get to see you again soon." Marlow said and waved at you. You returned the favor.
You started heading towards the window, and got there with ease. You used the trees to not startle any animals that might be awake. You couldn't risk any noise that was unnecessary.
You made your way into the village that they had tried to raid to find an enchanted diamond axe, and a horse with a saddle. Eventually after looking around a little bit, you found a bag of bread and put it on your horse.
You started heading north, the way to the mountains and Endidione. You should reach it in two days if you keep this up. You realize that this was a very high-quality horse, and that all the mobs couldn't get to you both. You felt a sense of relief.
You rode the horse until you reached a nice spring with fresh water. You got off the horse to let it rest and have a drink after taking one yourself. You looked over the horizon of the plains you had landed in. The sun was rising over the smooth landscape. It was calming.
Eventually you got back on your horse, and decided to call it Kaiidth, since you felt like it fit. Then you continued on your journey towards Ensidione.
You kept riding for what felt like hours before stopping in the middle of an oak forest for another drink of water. You fed Kaiidth some apples before you continued.
Eventually you started to feel the weather shift into a more cold climate. You never realized how close the empires were. Not long you had to lug Kaiidth through the snowy tundra before you spotted a village. The colors of Ensidione flew proudly.
"Hello, I would like to stay here for the night because I am on my way to the King himself on orders." You say kindly to an innkeeper, they nod and give you a room with a stable for your horse.
You unpack what you have, it was strange to sleep on a normal bed again. You started to miss everyone at the prison, Marlow, Matthew, even Punz. You knew it wouldn't be long until something happened though.
You fell asleep not long after. It was nice and peaceful. The way you wish the world was. It couldn't last forever.
You woke in the middle of the night. Just as planned, you grabbed your bread, loaded up on Kaiidth, then started heading towards Ensidione. This time Kaiidth was used to snow.
You made large amounts of ground overnight. Without as many things to disturb you, you felt free. You spotted the castle as the sun rose upon it. Thank goodness. You trotted up towards the front gates.
"State your business." The guard said, not seeming to recognize you.
"I am Y/N L/N, I was kidnapped by the Falconiers about a month ago. I have escaped prison and returned home to prepare for my next assignment." You replied, bowing towards him.
"Ah, your majesty will await you at noon for your next assignment and judgement." The guard replies.
"Also, Simon, do me a favor. I have two people who are willing to help our cause. A pillager that's unarmed, with a ravager named Matthew. They are very nice, and willing to help." You said as you passed through the gates.
"I will keep an eye out." Simon said.
You made your way past the large spruce doors past the throne room, and into your room. You were glad to be back home. You instantly took a long shower to get everything off of your travels. Finding your uniform in decent shape, you slipped it on. Going down to the kitchens, you found that the chefs were making nice pastries to start the morning. You grabbed a nice looking pastry with a nice thank you. This all sounded far too familiar.
It wasn't too long after that you made your way towards the throne room.
