The large spruce doors stood in front of you. Not a single scratch that could be caught by the human eye. You pushed them open to reveal the entire court waiting for you. The king majestically sat on his throne while his associates were all at his sides. His firstborn Wilbur was at his left, with his wife Sally and his child, Fundy, to his side. The second born, Tommy was at his right, standing side-by-side with his best friend, Tubbo. The rest of the court was filed in accordingly. You bowed to the king feeling a slight pressure as all eyes were on you.

"Arise Y/N," The king spoke, and you did rise to meet eyes with him.  "I knew that the Falconiers had taken you after you didn't report the morning you were taken. I knew your strength would give you a large advantage to get out. So tell me, what is their prison like, we must know so we may defeat them through the castle?"

"They are a near replica of ours, your majesty. They have windows at the ends of halls all connected by a spiral staircase." You said maintaining eye contact. "To my knowledge there are three main guards in the prison with around hour-long sessions. The castle is placed in the middle of a set of villages. Large amounts of dark oak surround it all, surrounding it in cover, and darkness without sources."

"Not what I expected, with this information we might be able to get our long deserved victory." The king replied, the court applauded in response. "But first, there is something you must do Y/N."

"What is it sir?" You ask, bowing back down.

"They sent out search parties for you yesterday morning, one of them was sent straight to the castle." The king said, a nice grin appearing on his face. "You are being put in charge of him. Make sure he doesn't escape, for he will come in handy."

"Yes sir." You reply, rising up, making eye contact with Wilbur, you both smiled at each other.

"Court closed." The king said, the entire court rose to exit the room.

You followed everyone until the turn for your room came. You turned into your room to get ready for prison duty. It was a quite simple job to be prepared for. With armour, an axe, and a stubborn attitude, this will be a breeze. You wondered who was caught, for some reason you hoped it was Punz, or Sapnap.

You got all your supplies from your room, and started heading towards the dungeons. The thing about the castle that you disliked was the fact that it was inside of a mountain. This meant that beside the freezing cold of the north, there was dead air the farther you went in. The dungeons were at the very back of the castle, the core of the mountain. It was dead cold, even with heated armour, you could still feel like you were freezing to death.

On your way to the dungeons, you grabbed a fresh slice of cake, still somewhat warm from the oven. Starting your way down the dungeon stairs that led to a labyrinth of corridors. They were meant to confuse prisoners, but most times they confused you. Left, right, left, left, spiral down, right. You thought as you went through the maze of corridors. You reached the cells not long after, making your way past the open cells to the closed one at the end of the hall. Another thing you had forgotten about the dungeons was they were pitch black without the lanterns. Looking inside you found Punz sitting with his back towards you.

"Oh how the turn tables." You laughing, leaning against his cell bars. He shot up in response.

"I thought you weren't a guard?!" Punz said, nearly sounding happy you were there. You shrugged your shoulders.

"The king thinks I'll know your tricks." You said, and even though you did, a nice trick can save you looking through a maze, since there wasn't a window.

"At least there's no toss." Punz said, relieved about it.

"That was fun though!" You argued, it looked fun being the one tossed.

"Sure Y/N, sure." Punz said, leaning against the bars with a strange look on his face.

"It looked fun, besides, didn't you confirm I was easy to throw?" You said, making eye contact that he instantly broke.

"No, I'm not doing that again!" He said, turning away.

"Oh come on Punzie! This place is cold and boring! I'm surprised you haven't froze to death!" You said, rolling your eyes.

He nodded grimly, the sudden mood change was quite unwelcome. "I'm pretty surprised by that myself."
