It had been months since you had left the Ensidionian empire... and you didn't miss the mountains one bit. Sure, you missed Tubbo and Tommy, along with Wilbur, Fundy, Niki... Even Sally. But you didn't regret leaving one bit.
You had been staying with your piglin friend, Technoblade. He seemed slightly hesitant, seeing as we both had another person in our parties. Yours being Punz, and his being an almost perfect halfling child named Ranboo.
Both Technoblade and the halfling were very odd in their own ways. Techno would leave for hours on end with no explanation as to why. Ranboo seemed practically incapable of holding conversation (which was no big deal, you weren't the best at that either), and they will randomly go into a sleep-walking state where they speak just as one of their halves does.
Techno had called it 'enderwalking', you hadn't believed that he ever saw it happen, Punz found it cool, and Ranboo seemed afraid of doing it. You had woken up one morning to find Techno being the only one in the house.
"Hey," you grinned as you sat down across from him. You noticed the worry in his eyes, as he furrowed his brows at the paper in front of him. "What's wrong?" You asked quietly.
"Ranboo..." He said quietly, shoving the paper toward you. "They saw this and went to the overworld. They want to try and stop it... They think it's unjust." You felt worry of your own bubble in your chest as you scanned over the fine print.
'The sovereign of the Ensidionian empire and Prince George of the Falconier empire are to be wed, three weeks' time. This is to make peace between the empires without the guard Y/N of Ensidione to make peace. This decision was suggested and made by the sovereign's father, King Philza Ensidione. We do not go against the king. His word is life. Hail the king, hail the crown. The almighty Ensidione empire, the continuously great place of hopes and dreams.'
