Punz took you back to the prison while Dream and Sapnap interrogated the pillager and what they could of Matthew. All you heard was the fact that you were an angel of death, and that you should be respected... Even though you had no idea what that was.

He took you back to your cell. Matthew and the pillager became your new neighbors. You figured you could use this to your advantage to annoy Punz.

"I never got your name! I'm Y/N!" You yelled through the walls. Punz slapped his face.

"Oh, I'm Marlow, pleasure knowing your name, death angel Y/N." Marlow groaned in response, and you assumed Matthew was sitting on him.

"The guard over there is Punz! I've had him the entire time I've been here." You screamed back. Punz sighed and laid down, staring at the ceiling.

"Shut up." He muttered, just barely loud enough for you to hear. You figured you'd give him a break.

"Whatever, Punzie." You said looking away and at Marlow and Matthew's cell.

Dream suddenly came from the stairs, just seeming to fix the mask onto his face. You spot Punz's eyes flick back toward him, lighting up quickly.

"Dream! Thank God you're here to switch!" Punz shouted happily, scrambling up. Dream tilted his head, and you could feel his amusement.

"I'm not here to switch. I'm here to take the pillager for interrogations." The shorter blonde's smile fell instantly, and you couldn't help but giggle a bit.

Suddenly, you remembered an idea. "Hey! Dream, can I ask you something?" You ask quickly, pressing up against the bars to look at him.

"That was something," he says back, leaning against your cell's bars as well. After a moment of staring at each other, he laughed. "Yeah, what's up."

"Well if Matthew and Marlow's cell is anything like mine is..." You raised your brow with a slightly worried expression. "You understand?"

He pulls back and looks into their cell. "I see what you're saying, it doesn't look nice at all." Dream said, whispering something you couldn't understand.

He walked towards the cell door and opened it. Marlow came out, Matthew stayed there.

"Will you promise to stay close by if I take you out?" Dream asked, Matthew shot up and nodded in excitement.

"Alright then. Stay at my heels at all times." Dream said. Matthew didn't come through.

"Are you sure the door is even big enough?" Punz spat out. He didn't like the idea, since you annoyed him.

"Right." Dream said, moving a set of iron bars out of the way. Matthew came running through and stood right next to him, giving him a little nudge.

"Thank you, sir. He very much appreciates it." Marlow said, offering Dream a smile. Then they all started walking down the hall. The clang of Matthew being heard for what felt like miles.

"What do they mean by 'angel of death'? No one here has ever heard anything about it." Punz said after the trio was out of earshot.

"I'm not sure what Marlow means by that either." You said, sighing and slumping against your cell doors. Maybe you could ask when he got back, but then he'd be like 'You are the death angel, why do you not know anything about yourself?' and blah blah blah... You liked him, but you didn't like him telling you that you were someone you weren't.

"Maybe it's some sort of religious pillager thing?" He suggested, sitting closer to your cell and resting his chin in a gloved hand. "Although, then it'd be a bit weird that even the ravager knew."

"They aren't like the animals we have around here like sheep or pigs... Ravagers themselves are more like humans than even zombies or drowns." You state, looking over at him, locking eyes for a moment. "Besides, it's not like we don't bathe our horses in gold to represent our gods, or sacrifice innocent animals like sheep or pigs."

He shrugs, nodding. He understood what you meant, which was nice for a change. Usually on Ensidione, people would look at you weird for this opinion. But Punz... he just understood and expressed it openly. It was a different feeling, one that warmed your heart and restored your former love for the Falconier empire.

The love you had felt for the empire before the time they had declared war. That was a long time ago, though. You knew it and so did everyone else.

"Hey, Punz, why did the empires declare war against each other, again?" You ask quietly, leaning against the bars more so he could hear you more.

He hummed and was silent. You felt the air next to you move, suddenly realizing that Punz was much closer than you had originally assumed. You glanced over, blinking at him for a moment. "I don't even know..."

You glance at him and sigh quietly. "Then why are we even fighting for it?"
