I understand that my research on the location of the Garden of Eden may have flaws. This is fan fiction. I do not intend to offend anyone of the Christian faith nor anyone from or of Iraq. Thank you for reading and enjoy.
"So this is The Garden of Eden." Thor said looking around the vast lands of crop and soil. Dry greenery covering each inch of his sight.
"Yes and no." Lucifer said kicking small rocks with his pointed shiny shoes. "Mesopotamia, or Iraq now." Lucifer said looking over his shoulder at Amenadiel who looked uncomfortable. "Something wrong brother?" Lucifer asked him.
"This place just brings back certain memories. But let's get on with it. Open the door." Amenadiel said. Lucifer nodded in understanding. The story of the serpent was not a pleasant one to the Angels. Well all but Lucifer of course. Lucifer rolled up his sleeves and lead Thor, Amenadiel, Sigyn, Loki, and Nic through the dry foliage towards a very large boulder. It towered over them. Shadowing them in a dark cloak of shade. He placed his hands firmly on the large rock and his form shifted into his Devil appearance. Nobody made any inclination they were disturbed by it. Amenadiel was used to it, although he didn't believe it suited his brother's true spirit. Loki liked it, he thought it made him more menacing. Thor wasn't a fan but for the sake of friendship he kept his opinions to himself. And Sigyn, who's memories of this form were held by Jennifer Mason, felt as though this form was just as equally his as his normal appearance. Just as she thought of Loki's Jotunheim form. The two halves of themselves being one.
Lucifer closed his eyes and his body vibrated against the rock making a loud echoing noise to reverberate in the air. Lucifer stepped back and cracked his neck, transforming back to his normal form. The group took a step back as a gleaming red light emitted and then faded away leaving an open doorway surrounded by vines twisted together with every flower you could imagine. Lucifer turned to face the others and nodded his head. He turned back around and lead the way into The Garden of Eden. The group followed Lucifer through the entrance and they were immediately at aw of their surroundings.
The true Garden of Eden was a flourishing place of every color you could ever imagine. A massive valley full of flowers that which bees happily buzzed about. A waterfall to the east and a glorious stream below it that flowed effortlessly. The water clearer then any water to ever exist on earth. In the center of the valley bore a massive tree. Full of bright green leaves and birds which housed their nests on nearly every branch. At the base of the tree grew a single red rose. Not one imperfection upon its petals as the bright sunlight bathed it. An unusual amount of thorns on its stem.
Lucifer walked up to the tree and knelt by the rose. Without hesitation or flinching when placing his hand on the thorn covered stem he plucked it from the ground it grew from. He stood and crushed the flower in his hand. The flower turning to dust. Lucifer opened his fist to reveal no trace of the flower but instead a single gold ring with a bright round opalescent stone in the center. He placed the ring on his middle finger and sighed.
"What is it?" Sigyn asked craning her neck to get a better look. Lucifer looked to her with a soft smile.
"The Stone of Agatha." Lucifer said.
"And that is?" Nic asked.
"The Stone of Agatha was forged by our father at the beginning of all things. When he created The Garden, the Stone of Agatha was also created. A stone with unimaginable power to command the minds of whoever the wearer wishes." Amenadiel said.
"Why would God create such a thing? Isn't that more of your type of thing? You are the Devil." Thor said hesitantly trying not to hurt Lucifer's feelings. Lucifer chuckled lightly.
"My father is not all puppy love and rainbows. He's actually more menacing than most people would like to believe. But regardless The Stone of Agatha will allow me to regain control of the demons and return them to Hell with limited loss of human life. If I can help it." Lucifer said then walked passed them toward the door they entered through.
"Wait, wait, wait. We need more information. Why can you use the stone?" Loki said confused. The group rushed to catch up to Lucifer as he walked swiftly towards the exit.
"The stone reveals itself to those who are in most need of it. Even the Devil himself it seems." Lucifer said then turned his head and winked at Sigyn. Without realizing it a blush spread across her face. Loki noticed and grit his teeth.
"Do we know where the demons are? Nothing has been reported of anything crazy happening around the globe. How do we know they even made it through the tunnel?" Thor asked.
After the group exited The Garden of Eden the entrance shimmered and became solid rock again. A feeling of emptiness briefly washing over them. The pure angelic power of The Garden had mesmerized them without them noticing.
"They walk among us. I felt a presence recently but I thought I was imagining things. Mazikeen was suppose to keep an eye on them. I guess she got side tracked, frustrating woman. Nonetheless I will deal with that later. But for now I must convene a plan. And I will need your... help." Lucifer said reluctantly.
"The all powerful Lucifer Morningstar needing our help? How shocking and humbling." Sigyn said with a smirk. Lucifer winked at her again. Their playful banter annoying the hell out of Loki as he crossed his arms and scoffed at them.
"So this evangelical power stone is going to command Hell's children. How do we start?" Thor asked. Lucifer thought for a moment then looked to Amenadiel and a grin spread across his face. Amenadiel looked at him for a moment confused then realization dawned on him.
"No way. Luci we am not bringing her into this." Amenadiel said.
"Who?" Sigyn asked.
"Eve." Lucifer replied then winked at her once again.
