Nicolas, Loki, and Sigyn sat in Nicolas' room with enough distance between them that would make anyone uncomfortable. Their silence lasting what felt like days. After a while Loki stood and started looking around his son's room. Book shelves lined the walls with ancient texts and plays upon them. The room was pristine. Not a single thing out of place. The room decorated in soft greys and blues. Loki walked over to the small desk in the corner of the room and picked up a sketch book. He flipped through it and saw multiple portraits of Sigyn. Most of them in her appearance as Jennifer Mason. Normal Midgardian clothes and one where she sat reading in the park. Even one with her sitting at her apartment's window with her cat. Loki handed the book to Sigyn with a smile.

"He tells the truth. He did not leave you." Loki said handing her the book. The book open to the drawing of her and the cat. Sigyn looked over to her son who sat motionless at the edge of his bed.

"How?" Sigyn asked Nicolas.

"Illusions mother." Nicolas said without emotion. Sigyn nodded her head. She always felt a presence around her, especially when she was alone. But being Jennifer Mason, without magic, she felt as though it was just her mind playing tricks on her.

"And none of your father?" Sigyn asked. Nicolas looked up.

"No." Nicolas said.

"Why?" Sigyn asked. Nicolas stayed silent. Sigyn could feel the coldness Nicolas was holding toward Loki and she had no idea why. Loki had lost his son just as she had. "Why do you harbor anger towards your father? He has done nothing to you." Sigyn continued. The tension in the air ever growing. Nicolas scoffed and walked towards the window in his room. He crossed his arms and looked out it, ignoring his mother's question. "I may have missed the opportunity to raise you, but I am still your mother. I beg you, answer me." Sigyn said walking over to her son.

"He thinks playing with your mind was in your best interest... it was not." Nicolas said.

"You don't know what happened. I... I was uncontrollable. I admit at first I felt the same as you. Hurt, betrayed, angry. But now I know that he and Lucifer were just trying to do right by me." Sigyn said leaning her head on Nicolas' shoulder. She now understood that Nicolas would have come to her sooner had she regained her memories. But he was but a child when Sigyn had her outbursts. He does not remember what she had done in her past. And he did not know what type of person she would have become if not for her memories being taken away from her. What Lucifer and Loki did to her was painful and caused her much pain. But in the end, it allowed her mind to heal. To accept that Nari was gone. But now, seeing him alive and standing before her. She wishes she had that time back. But all she could do was accept what is and move on. "You should have gone to him. You did not need to face this life alone for so long." Sigyn said again.

"I was a child. I had to face EVERYTHING alone. Being involved with HYDRA wasn't a complete lie..." Nicolas admitted. Loki walked up to the other side of his son. Nicolas stiffened at his closeness.

"If your mother can forgive me, in time I hope you will as well." Loki said. Nicolas said nothing.

"HYDRA captured you?" Sigyn asked.

"When I was in my adolescence I was living from place to place. Surviving by spelling people to do as I pleased. I wasn't being careful enough and was spotting using my magic to conjure wine from a locked cellar. The person who spotted me... was a HYDRA agent." Nicolas started. His eyes not leaving the window he gazed out of. Sigyn leaned into him further. Allowing the warmth from her son's body to envelope her. Unlike Loki's chilled body her son's resembled her's. "I was young and easily convinced. They told me they could help me. I went willingly. I did know Wanda. I just spelled her to not remember me as the person she once knew. She was the only friend I had. When I escaped I spelled her to forget me. When I returned I broke that spell. That is why she thinks I bewitched her. It was years of torture and experimentation. I do not wish to get into it right now... if that's alright." Nicolas said. He was starting to get emotional. And just like his father, he wished to keep those emotions hidden.
